I noticed a resurgence of a trend that was popular growing up - guys keeping their boxer shorts and boxer briefs on under their swim trunks or board shorts when swimming.

With board shorts I get it since they lack a mesh liner but with traditional swim shorts that have a liner I still get puzzled. I used to wear briefs with the liner because it felt odd having boxer briefs on with it. Eventually learned to cut it out and by adult years, it was loose boxers under board shorts. Super hot when they get wet.

Did anyone else here do it? Find it a turn on to see a guy sagging with wet underwear on under his shorts?

Curious also, when did you ditch the board shorts in public and opt for swimming in jeans and underwear in front of others?

I used to always cut the liner out of swim trunks. Because I couldn't stand the way that they cut into my groan area. I would usually wear boxer shorts or boxer briefs on under those shorts at that time. Now with board short, I generally just wear the board shorts unless I'm going to be in a public pool. Then I will put a pair of boxer shorts on under them. Depending upon the pool of men, I could potentially even be swimming naked. That feels the best to me.

I attend a mixed weekly water aerobics class in which I wear some older speedo brand shorts, plus briefs underneath. In the changing room I said to the others present that I did it 'cos I removed the mesh liner when they were new due to discomfort - which is true. Nobody seemed surprised about it. Wondering when I should wear a tank top as well...

Whatever I do, even swimming, I am always fully dressed. This also includes boxer shorts, briefs or jocks. Otherwise I'm not complete How boring is it to swim only in swimming trunks. I lack the imagination and understanding for that

Forget the swim trunks. Just the boxer briefs should do....

Hey, I agree with Kyle although I wouldn't say it's rather new. But having recently moved to southern Florida, I see it everywhere, even landscapers and other outdoor contractors. We walk along Hollywood Beach a lot. There are showers at the edge of the beach at each street. Wet waistbands and sagging shorts abound. I also love seeing the seam line around their thighs of the boxers underneath. I'm always amazing how this doesn't arouse these guys like it does for me. And they seem oblivious that I'm right there watching. And I have recently seen guys in just their boxer briefs, too. So glad I moved here

This used to be a thing when I was at school with silk boxer shorts.
Underwear/boxers was for modesty but didn't really work here, almost the opposite for some

Girls even got in on the phase and there was nothing hotter than their boxers waste band showing above their board shorts or under their school dress, especially water fight days

I usually always wear boxer briefs, briefs, or bikini briefs under my board shorts when swimming. I also enjoy taking of my shorts and swimming in my underwear.
