Can anyone recommend a good type of mat or other sort of portable surface that will make sex in gunge easier? Inflatables are way too slippery and it's hard to get enough traction. Has anyone tried one of those sheets made for nuru massage? I was also just thinking about getting a rubber drainage mat like commercial kitchens use. Has anyone had success with a particular material?
We have a nuru sheet and traction wise it works pretty good, the down side is the water proof part is only in the middle , so we ruined our dust cover with chocolate run off . So we bought a queen size inflatable mattress and put the sheet over that. Hope this helps.

Is the nuru sheet you have the kind with the raised edges? If so do they help at all or is it only useful with the amount of goop one would use in a massage?

Ok I may have miss spoke, we have a water proof sheet it's a fitted sheet with waterproof center parts basically extra pads but the edges don't have it so it runs off and stained the dust cover, but we had a ton of mess, if you just did the massage you'd be fine we've done that.
You can get really cheap anti-slip painters floor mats to help with the traction issue, and believe me, that can be frustrating. Vapor barrier plastic is great for containing mess, but it's slick as goose shit when there's heavy mess in play.
I have a lot of big padded movers' blankets (like the kind you can rent with a moving truck to protect your furniture). I usually lay those out as padding, then put down the plastic painters tarp sheeting, and then lay down a few old bed sheets. No matter how much mess gets on the sheets, you still have traction. And then if you wanna get down and have sex in the mess, the padded blankets make the ground softer and they stay protected under the plastic.
I'm including a picture from a session back in March and you can see the blanket after cleanup.

An old large worn out/punctured air mattress works very well to protect the bed, gives them some final uses before they go to the trash. We roll blankets around the perimeter of the bed that stay under the flat air mattress so the middle area is the lowest and holds the glop there.
