Apologies if this has been covered before but I want to gauge whether my feeling about how the wam scene breaks down in terms of peoples preferences is accurate. It seems that broadly speaking people enjoy either the Slapstick comedic approach (Splosh, Piefight Girls, Slapstick Stuff, Pied Pinups etc etc) or they aren't especially interested in the comedy aspect and prefer it for the humiliation kick, the sensual aspects and so on. And there's obviously a lot of crossover between these categories. Soooo, here's a poll and I'm also interested in further feedback: can you define as succinctly as possible what the essence of your wam fetish is? Eg: Humiliation. Comedy. Physical sensation. Submission. Peril. etc. etc. Or have I got it completely wrong? I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm gearing up to start producing and I want to try and figure out if my ideas and personal preferences will be well received.
For me, I guess it depends on the complete "package"; the model, the mess, the scenario, as well as my mood.
Some things, I enjoy the lady laughing as she's messed. In the fantasy of the scenario, I'll be thinking: "Look at that! She LOVES it! Look at her laughing!"
Other times, maybe more times, I love the humiliation aspect. That's why I also love bondage with my wam.
When I'm wamming myself, I love the sensations and feeling of the mess. I also normally role-play being humiliated.

One thing you've not mentioned is the idea of the girl 'carrying on regardless' as she gets messed up. I guess this crosses over somewhat with humiliation, but I love scenarios where a girl is doing some sort of task which she goes on trying to complete despite getting progressively completely messed up.

The aesthetic is the main thing. I have my preferences within the fetish, but it still boils down to the simple fact that I find women covered in gunge to look really frickin' sexy.
Physical Sensation is what I voted for, as it's the main reason I enjoy tipping mess over my head. Though what made me think this would be fun is the comedy/humiliation side from watching people on TV get gunged from a young age.
Have to say I look forward to the day where, there is an element of Humiliation for myself and comedy for others watching. There is also a degree of wanting to sub to someone's Splosh need and let someone have their way with me and buckets of mess.
As far as what I enjoy watching for videos, the main thing is type of WAM. I actually don't care for pies, far prefer to watch someone have a bucket of mess dumped over their head or them sit in a Gunge Tank (have numerous GTG vids) and have complete coverage, but most particular waist and above.
Some kind of scripted scene or game type scenario is a cool way of reasoning for the models getting messy. Like "Strip or Slime" or "L&K Stop the Snot" or people saying a trigger word/sitting somewhere.
Feet pushed into buckets doesn't do anything for me. Also actually hate seeing people directed into looking straight up so mess is dumped directly onto their face, tried it once myself and just don't get it's appeal.
The comedy, and especially the sound effects, that are in some videos are a turnoff for me. I often watch those on mute as a result.
For me personally, it's both about the feeling of it and the fact it's taboo. I'm normally a very clean person and the idea of getting down and dirty/messy is therefore a turn-on.
With a partner, it's that feeling as well but also a light level of sub/dom (not BSDM levels).
For videos however, humiliation is quite fun as is sub/dom as physical sensation doesn't often come across well in video. That's not to say it doesn't, there's been some great ones of people in bathtubs for example.
