Enigmahood made a post a few days ago about this Youtuber, 3D Slimer, but now Slimer's released a new, and frankly much better video with poor Lara Croft getting captured while tomb raiding, and slimed and pied for daring to steal ancient relics:
Wanted to highlight this, as the animation is far better than previous videos and is frankly some of the best we've yet seen in animated WAM, with multiple layers of mess, pies that actually stick properly and splatter, and believable slime flows that aren't just chunks but actual streams. Throw in a script and good reactions, and good lord, what a video. And what potential for the future!
Maybe it's cuz I grew up in the era before YouTube, when you took your media wherever you could find it (like comics), but this is kinda awesome. The pies probably need some sort of "crust" addition, but otherwise this is WAY more realistic than any video game WAM and has the potential to be as good as live action someday.
I see this filling a void where WAM producers can't go (due to money/logistics).... i.e. EPIC scenes with, say, Great Race quantities of pies being hurled at one lone female avatar.
To echo what a few others have said, when I initially saw the posts about these videos, I was sceptical as to whether digital animation could be remotely effective as a WAM medium compared to live action videos - but I've been absolutely converted! They're amazing!
The realism of the physics and rendering of the slime flow makes the WAM aspect very effective, and the shot design (love the looming bucket!), scene setup and audio of crowd reactions make this one the best yet.
Massive props to 3D Slimer for all the hard work that must go into these! Looking forward to seeing more As SStuff said, there's so much potential with these types of animations for bringing to life ultimate fantasy type scenes that would be impossible to achieve in real life!
The character design/animation and the slimings are excellent (and the swaying of her breasts after being gunged/slimed is a great detail)...the pieings need some work (the pies need some more filling and and the aftermaths need to have/show some thickness or substance to the pies -- not just a white 'dusting')....keep up the good work!

This is great work! Do you think you could do a video where a girl falls into a giant cake? (Great race style?) That's one thing I've always wished for but I guess has been cost prohibitive for producers.
Hey I just wanted to say thanks to you all for your feedback on this, and thank you to the person who created this forum. I never thought I would see one of my videos being talked about on here, and I'm super happy to see that the feedback has been remarkably positive. More will be coming out soon, and I hope you enjoy. Thanks again.

Also more than one or two participants, more thrown pies (no worries of missing), more girl-pieing-girl action (no worries of weak or missed hits), etc.
Great Race's pie scene took four days to film 4 minutes. We have seen here two versions of the first pieing of Natalie Wood. Don't think any WAM producer can afford that.
