Hi MK! i joined this forum a long time ago, but rarely visited...as you described the comparisons of a new Cadillac to an old VW bug (but i am a big "classic" car buff at the same time...) so probably will check THIS forum at least as much as the other one now???

Well....there used to be a Cadillac wetlook forum, that had all the bells and whistles and the most up to date features. That was the forum that Graham at Styx created. That was the perfect design for a wetlook forum, but sadly it did not survive and was later shut down.....perhaps due to lack of support and traffic. The main problem/issue was that at least 50% of the people on Nigel's wetlkook forum like to see candid wetlook videos, and Graham's forum decided from the get go that they did not want candid wetlook media on their forum, so they banned candid media.....which was their right to do, but then you basically told 50% of wetlook fans they were not welcome, so they would not support that forum. So, people stuck with the old Volkswagon forum because it was more tolerant and they could not go to a Cadillac forum that was intolerant of candid media.
Messmaster has struck an interesting compromise on this forum viz candid wetlook fans....i.e. he does not outright ban the subject matter, he just maintains a strict rule that no background images of minors is allowed.
Bear in mind, UMD only created a wetlook forum several years later, and was originally a messy forum only. Wetlook fans did not have many options, because 50% of them like candid wetlook scenes, so they had to stick with the primitive 1980's style forum Nigel created because although Graham's forum had the perfect state of the art design, they made it clear that they would ban candid wetlook fans on their forum....so then Messmaster recognized an opportunity to create a wetlook forum on UMD that would make a compromise and not outright ban candid media....just strictly moderate it and not allow background images of underage people.
