Upon reading more of the thread - I misunderstood this a bit. I think to earn the additional star badge the picture/ID need to also match the persona that the profile itself is presenting. Likewise, if it is a couple's account - both IDs/pictures should match the media being presented. If someone doesn't want their likeness up, that's fine, they just wouldn't get the star badge.

I think this is great and a graphic like this to have as part of a welcome to the site would be helpful too. I think this plus having to resubmit IDs to maintain the badges would be great!
