While at an outdoor event, it rained, and the ground became soft and muddy, with many patches of hay hiding water and mud underneath it. My whole outfit and socks were already soaking wet, so before I headed home, after squelching around in my socks and flip-flops, I took them off and enjoyed a barefoot walk through the mud.
