Alisha seeks a shortcut by cutting across a corner of a pond near sunset. She wades and splashes into sloppy mud up to her knees with her denim jeggings and then plunges down to her hips. She slides in deeper, the mud ruining both her pants and her white, sleeveless blouse. She struggles and grunts almost up to her armpits in the gross, smelly mud. She manages to wriggle free, stumbling back to shore with her destroyed clothing through the sloppy mire.
