Two parties into the late evening, Lavender sets across the beach before sunrise, in her silver, retro disco pants and pink bralette. The beach has another surprise for her--it is not quite as solid as it seems. She begins to sink! Amused at first, she quickly gets disgusted by the mess. She struggles and twists, sinking all the way to her shoulders. As the sun rises, she gathers the strength to pull herself out into the chilly, early autumn air. Fans of a prolonged extraction from real quicksand will take great delight in the strenuous effort she puts into pulling herself out.
