Since it is almost October and cooler temps are on the way I headed out to a local mud bog one more time. Usually this mud drag has an extra foot of water, but it has been unusually dry and most if the extra water has evaporated. I was having trouble with my ATV overheating so when I stopped earlier to let it cool off, I discovered the preferred mud hole probably got too much traffic to be usable for getting muddy. So I headed up to the drag strip area to check it out. The drags are in the middle of a field and are pretty visible. In fact there was a group camping a few hundred feet away. I knew they could see me, but since i knew this might be my last session before it cools off I decided I would give it a try.
