I loved doing my last pieing outdoors, but the house next door is no longer vacant. Did some recon Saturday night to find a place in the park off the trail with a notch in a tree to hold my phone. Down side is not having a good place to prep and set up the pies, so there's slight delays between each pair while I load up the shells. I owed 19 pies in the "Spin for a Pie" game, but ran out of whipped cream on pie 14. Preloaded a graham cracker crust tin with whipped cream for the final, the other 13 were done on tortillas. First time with those, and I'm happy with how they worked; not quite as satisfying as a full size graham cracker crust pie, but cheaper and easier to get a bunch in a backpack for bringing into the park, plus less bulky trash for packing out. After the last pie, I smashed 48 mini-eclairs all over.
