Irene stumbles upon a mud bog in the middle of the forest. It's covered in something yellowish-green, like moss and rotting grass. The loose, bottomless, brownish mud sucks Irene down inch by inch as she struggles. Inevitably, she ends up completely below the surface. Then she surfaces and dives a few more times, and escapes.
