The Beast has been getting trained into being a puppy, as you can see by his big floppy tongue. He was trained to be a puppy so he would lick his master's feet without hesitation. Unfortunately, his master forgot just how messy dogs could be. Puppy doesn't realize he's about to get punished. At least the pie tasted good! Dumb dog.
