'How did I get roped into this?' Garfield thought as he left the room for a brief moment to collect himself.

He and his friend, Dexter, were currently "playing butler" at this dinner party one of the "cool" teens had organized. The theme was classical so they had to dress accordingly. Garfield and Dexter were "invited" and told to come early, so they thought this would be a great experience for them. But the host decided they were only butlers for the night.
Garfield is a charming man with outgoing brown hair and brown eyes. Dexter "Dex", on the other hand, has dirty blonde hair that was more combed over and teal eyes. They are students at Einstein University. They were not exactly on the popular scale, much to their relief. They were not ones to be making the choices the cool students did. But that changed they were approached by Aidan, one of the said teens. Garfield and Dexter were shocked at the offering and excited to be invited.

But that proved folly when they arrived and told they were the waiters at the party. Garfield would have said something obscure but Dexter quickly answered for the both of them, to prevent any choice words. Garfield huffed in annoyance with this development, he was looking forward to partying with the cool students, but alas to them, Garfield was rather nothing more than a middle class to them, even if they are the same status. Both had dressed up in exquisite black tuxedos with white tuxedo shirts, black bow ties, black slacks, dress socks, and shoes. The attendees were also dressed smartly, wearing many designer tuxedos and accessories that made them look all too fancy in Garfield's opinion.

This is why Garfield needed a moment to himself. This event seemed to make him and Dexter the joke here. He was beginning to vent his frustration out at being played into a butler when he had better things to do.

"Gar," Dexter chimed in, using his nickname, "Come on. It's not that bad."

"That is an understatement," Garfield retorted.

Dexter was about to retort but realized it was fruitless, "Yes, I suppose it is."

"Are we just a joke to them?" Garfield asked.

Dexter realized what this was about: status. They are all middle class but the head honcho deemed them nothing more than servants for the evening.

"Look," Dexter said in a comforting tone, "I'm not going to sugarcoat. Yes, they are looking at us like we don't matter. But it doesn't matter. After today, we don't have to play this role anymore."

Garfield took into account what his friend was saying before reluctantly agreeing, "I suppose that is true. Fine. But I can't promise I have thoughts on getting even after this night."

Dexter just laughed, "Yes. I'm pretty sure you will. Now come on, we have entrees to present." Garfield just rolled his eyes and returned to his 'duty.'

...

Having given the entree, both 'waiters' were excused and allowed to rest for a brief moment. Aidan strolled into the room, eyeing the two before addressing them.

"Hello, gentlemen," he said, "We will have our desserts now."

Garfield bit his tongue at the command but Dexter was kind enough to beckon him away from doing something he would regret before leaving and bringing out the desserts. Aidan had informed them that the party had moved to the grand living room so the two waiters got the dessert tray.

Upon reaching the living room, a guest had asked for a cup of pudding. Garfield, still holding back remarks, obliged and grabbed a chocolate pudding. He peeled it open before grabbing a spoon to go along with it. The brunette walked over but didn't realize a small detail: his dress shoe had been untied.

This small detail made him trip and with an open chocolate pudding onto Aidan. The cup sent a glob of chocolate onto the host who recoiled in shock.
"You buffoon!" the host shouted in anger towards Garfield, "This is an Armani designer tuxedo."

Gar did his best to refrain from any reply but it failed as he responded, "Well, if anything it goes great with your attitude. Although you could use some more." The 'butler' scooped a spoonful of pudding before throwing it straight in Aidan's face, causing even more irritation.

"How dare you" the host growled but Garfield just shrugged it off.

"Oh please," he dismissed before taunting, "What are you going to do about it?"

In a flash, Gar lost the spoon and pudding when Aidan swiped the items, turning the tables on him, and flung two globs of chocolate pudding onto the butler's tuxedo, leaving brown marks.

Now it was Garfield's turn to be annoyed. "Oh, so it's going to be like THAT then?" He strolled over to the dessert tray and took a nice pudding pie before returning to Aidan and pied him in the face, letting the liquid-like filling ooze down the host and his Armani's tux.

Dexter immediately gulped before interfering, "Now, now. I'm sure Garfield didn't mean that. Right?"

Garfield could hear the stressed 'right' in the sentence but he had enough of being used tonight. "No, I fully intended that," he smugly stated.

Aidan wiped off cream and crust, enraged to the point he wished he had not invited these two buffoons to his gathering. The host walked over to the dessert tray before hurling his chosen pie straight at the two 'waiters.' The two targets ducked and the pie went sailing into one of the guests.

Upon collision, pie and crust splattered against the guest's head and attire. The other guest he was conversing withheld his hand to his mouth, holding in laughter. The receiver didn't like to be laughed at clearly, as when he wiped off the crust, he flung it onto the laughing guest, now it was their turn to be aghast at their tuxedo.

Garfield laughed aloud while Dexter just face-palmed and turned around. In an attempt to cease the soon-to-be-pie-fight, the dirty blonde was hit in the face with a chocolate cream pie in his face. The rich chocolate layer ran down his bow tie and collar, covering the lapels with the running cream.

Garfield heard the laughter from Aidan, thinking he was smug, but the former wasn't going to let him get away with that. He marched up and slammed the host's face into the nearest pie which happened to be a kiwi pie. Garfield looked smug himself before getting a tap on the shoulder. In a gullible manner, Gar turned around
And got a custard pie to his face. The giver was none other than Dexter.

Taken aback by the sudden betrayal, Dexter slammed another pie into his friend, this time in the chest which stained the tuxedo shirt Garfield was wearing.

Aidan recovered and saw that Garfield was getting his desserts but didn't have time to gloat as a chocolate cake slice hit him in the face. The host grew angry with the thrower and let desserts fly onto everyone in the room.

The dinner party turned to a free-for-all in seconds when pies and cake slices splattered designer tuxedos and their wearers. And in the center were Garfield and Dexter.

The two 'butlers' just glared at each other before continuing their private match. Garfield gave his friend a pie sandwich, smashing two chocolate cream pies together around his friend's head. Dexter retaliated by plowing a custard cream pie directly in Gar's face. The two went at it, covering each other with any desserts they could get. Garfield even got dirty by pieing Dexter in his crotch and filling his slacks with pudding. Dexter got even with his method: pieing Gar in the behind.

Around them, the pie fight had escalated repeatedly. Aidan and his guest constantly trashed each other and, unintentionally, the room nonstop. After running out of desserts, everyone eventually ceased fire.

Both 'butlers' got a good look at each other, as they had covered each other in an assortment of pastries and desserts. Chocolate pudding seeped down Garfield's hair, tapioca in Dexter's locks. Covering on their bow ties and lapels were crust and cream with flings of the same pudding that ran through their hair. Their black vests had been stained from the various desserts. The tuxedo jackets had their black fabric mixed with custard, chocolate cream, banana cream, and kiwi pie bits. Slacks were tarnished inside and outside from the dirty play with the pies and pudding. Down the slacks, streaks of the desserts had rolled down and landed on their dress shoes, losing their shine in the process.

Their appearances can be said about Aidan and his guests minus the use of dirty tactics and pudding drenching their undergarments.

Both Garfield and Dexter glared at each other before the former just cracked a smile before laughing. Dexter was puzzled before laughing himself.

Gar wiped a tear away before saying, "You look like a mess," in-between his laughter.

"Haha," Dex laughed, "Like you're any better!"

"YOU TWO!" Aidan roared, getting the attention of the butlers. He marched over, crushing and splashing through the residue on the floor with his patent leather dress shoes, even though they are mucked up completely.

"DO EITHER OF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!?" the snob snarled at the two. The two friends shared a glance before Garfield snarked.

"Made this party more interesting?"

"You have deliberately trashed my and everyone else's appearance! These are designer tuxedos!" Aidan replied.

Garfield and Dexter shared another glance before the former took some dripping cream and flung it right at the host, catching Aidan off guard by the behavior.

"You know what? You were right," Dexter said, "That is an improvement."

"GET OUT!" Aidan yelled at the two, who couldn't be happier to leave.

Leaving the party they had been 'invited to,' the friends were happy that they got to show up that obnoxious behavior of these 'cool' kids and turned them into the slobs and snobs they are.

Garfield, for one, was glad that Aidan got his 'dessert.'
