We open at the backstage breakfast buffet; DARON and NORM hold trays as they peruse the various food choices.



DARON: So I suppose you're going to tell me I'm a big fraud and this whole "giving up being messy for Lent" thing is a giant ruse, right?



NORM: I'm an atheist, so not only do I think YOU'RE a big fraud, I think the whole concept of Lent is bogus as well.



DARON proceeds to grab 2 syrup slathered pancakes and slaps them onto NORM'S face, over his eyes. She picks up the whip cream dispenser and makes a crude whip cream mouth over his actual mouth. She then outlines his face with a whip cream circle. For the grand finale, she picks up the bowl of eggs from the table and slams it over NORM's bald head. NORM stands there in the buffet line, pancakes sliding off his face, yellow egg yolk streaming from his head, humiliated.



DARON: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."



NORM wipes away the pancakes from his face.



NORM: That wasn't the "wrath of God", that was you.



Before he can finish, DARON slams his face into a bowl of raspberry pudding, once, twice, three times. After the third time, DARON leaves his face in the bowl. NORM places both hands on either side of the bowl and comically tries to extract his face.



DARON: "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."



DARON walks away with her plate as NORM finally removes his face from the pudding bowl, looking back and forth in a comically exaggerated way, pudding and other mess flying from his face, all over.
