Scene: 39:

The camera starts with a shot of a toilet, in a small cubicle, it pans up to the wall above the toilet where we see a large air vent, with the grate hanging down on one screw, leaving the entrance to the air duct open. The camera cuts to the inside of the dark and dusty shaft, where we see Cleo, Kristy and Athena crawling along it.

Cleo: How much further?
Kristy: I don't know. Until we find an escape, or something useful.
Cleo: We're safe here aren't we? I don't see any sprinklers in this duct shaft.
Kristy: Yeah, but for how long.
Athena: Porcelain's probably already suspicious that we all went in to that toilet cubicle together. It's only a matter of time before she investigates.
Kristy: Yeah, and when that happens I want to be in a position to take the fight to her.
Cleo: Or to make our escape.
Athena: Keep your voices down you two, I can hear something.

The camera cuts to a shot of a small office. In one corner, at floor level, we can see an air conditioning grate that the three women peer through. The office itself is a standard single room office, with desk, computer, a shelf with some folders on, and some generic prints on the wall. The only touch of personalisation is a couple of framed photos on the desk. Currently a man and woman are sitting either side of the desk holding a discussion.

Cleo: That's Katy and Mel the producers.
Athena: Anyone else think this looks a little odd?
Kristy: What do you mean. Just looks like their having another meeting.
Athena: Exactly. Porcelain has supposed to have taken over. There's no way she'd let them just casually meet in their office like this.
Cleo: Maybe they're locked in they're office.
Athena: The doors partially open. Look through the gap, there's Nina with a snack from the vending machine. There's no way Porcelain would be letting her captives wander around, and help themselves to snacks from vending machines.
Kristy: Your right. That is odd. Something's not right here.
Cleo: What do we do?
Kristy: Let's find out what's going on. When I give the signal. Athena you grab Katy, I'll grab Mel. Cleo you close that door.

The camera cuts back to a shot of the office as Kristy bursts out of the grate, as Katy calls out in shock Mel turns around and in a panic reaches for the phone on the desk. Just as he grabs it though Kristy reaches out and swats the phone off the desk.

Kristy: Not so fast!
Athena: Cleo. Are we clear.

There's a brief shot looking through the gap in the door, where everything seems normal in the corridor, before the door is shut, obstructing the view.

Cleo: Looks OK from here.
Kristy: Right! What the fuck is going on here? Your supposed to be held captive somewhere, yet we come here and find you acting like everything's normal.
Mel: Err, Porcelain does have us captive. She's just locked everyone in the office area while she supervises you. We're trapped here. You should return before something bad happens.
Athena: What? Porcelain left that many people unsupervised together in that large an area. That's not her style. Especially when there are plenty of rooms she can lock you in individually.
Kristy: Also, you just reached for your phone. Who were you trying to call?
Mel: Err, no-one.

Cleo comes over to pick the phone up off the floor. She listens on the handset, and tries a few buttons.

Cleo: It's still working.
Mel: Only internally. I was just going to let someone across the hall know you were here. It won't do outside calls. Like the one in your room before you got out.
Kristy: How do you know about that? I thought you were trapped here!
Mel: Porcelain might have mentioned it.
Kristy: What! Why would she share that with you?
Mel: Look, if you just go back to the main area I can sort this. You won't have any more problems I promise.
Kristy: ENOUGH!

The camera cuts to a shot of a pair of scissors on the desk. Kristy reaches for them and with the blades open puts them down Mel's trousers.

Kristy: I've put up with more than my fair share of bullshit today already. If you give me some answers right now your never going to have children.
Mel: But. Aaaaargh. Oh my God, your serious.
Kristy: Never been more so.
Mel: OK, OK, I'll explain everything, just promise you won't hurt me.

There's a brief pause, as Mel regains his composure.

Mel: This whole bit with Porcelain taking control, it's part of the show.
Kristy: What?!
Athena: Why?
Mel: This show was on it's way out. What with the ratings way down we faced no chance of getting recommissioned. The only reason this series is getting made is because we had a multiple series contract. We needed a big stunt to generate interest again.
Kristy: You did all this just for a TV show?
Mel: Not just that. You don't understand what stress I'm under. This series is my main project as a producer. If it goes under I'm back to running around and making coffee for people.
Athena: How did you ever get Porcelain on board?
Mel: You remember her boyfriend Jack from when you went to school together don't you. Well his father is a pretty big name in the world of music, as a producer. I met him at a showbiz event about a year ago and the subject came up. It's how I first got the idea. He said I was wasting my time, but I got some contact info from him, and managed to get to talk to Porcelain.
Athena: And she really just agreed to be part of this?
Mel: Well it wasn't that easy. She said no at first, then suddenly changed her mind on a few conditions. Safe and secret passage in and out the country, she'd get to design all the traps, plus some of her friends would be part of the production crew.
Kristy: So you put us all through that just for the publicity. You absolute cunts. Did you really expect to get away with this.
Katy: Well I don't know about Mel, but I expect the lot of you to go back to the house, and do what your supposed to do, which is play up for the cameras. If you check your contract you'll see that gungings and false emergency stunts are both covered amongst the things you agreed to when you signed up for this show, so we've not done anything we're not allowed to do.
Cleo: What about all that shit in the sprinkler system?
Kristy: Yeah. I don't think that kind of substance is covered by your gungings clause.
Mel: That's not real.
Kristy: What?
Mel: The only place we rigged up the sprinklers was in studio one for the demo.
Kristy: You mean everyone just stepped into one of Porcelain's traps for no reason.
Athena: So what would have happened if we'd run out of time.
Mel: We've already filmed an end sequence. It shows security taking control, but Porcelain and her friends getting away before they can be captured. If you want you can go back to the house and we'll initiate that immediately, or if you prefer we'll film the last two games, but fix them to make it look like you won.
Cleo: Why would I do that?
Mel: Ask Athena there. She knows how much money something like this can make you. If your shown on camera defeating her again your stock will only rise. We've already had offers to show this internationally, not to mentioned loads of offers of interviews and photo shoots for everyone involved, and that's only with private press releases. Think of how much money you'll make if everyone sees footage of you besting Porcelain.
Athena: You really expect that? I may have been through that once, but not through choice. Cashing in on my life experiences is one thing, but that's just a contrived fraud.
Kristy: Listening to you right now Mel I'm starting to think Porcelain has a point about the artificial world view you create.
Porcelain: Good to hear your coming round to my way of thinking.

There's a pause as the camera cuts to an overview of the office, as Cleo, Kristy, Athena, Katy and Mel look around in confusion.

Katy: What was that?

Porcelain's voice continues to blare out from an unseen tannoy speaker.

Porcelain: Oh, I've been watching the five of you for a couple of minutes on hidden camera. It's rather amusing.
Mel: Where? There aren't any cameras in here.
Porcelain: None that you know about. I had my tech whiz Gary make a few changes necessary for my own plans. By the way, thanks for all gathering together in there. It's going to make my next step so much more convenient.

There's a large sudden bang. The source of the bang being several panels around the walls around the office. From which a large amount of chlorofoam suddenly explodes out of, coating everything and everyone in the room in the thick white foam. Everyone stumbles around, and drops to the floor as the shot fades out of focus.

Scene 40:

The camera cuts to a shot looking down on a plain black floor currently looking the worse for wear with a lot of brown streaks smeared across it. Looking down we see Athena, Kristy and Cleo sat down on the floor with their hands secured behind their back with a set of plastic zip ties around their wrists. As the camera pans back we see behind them Katy and Mel are also sat down with their hands secured behind their back. As the camera moves out further we see we're looking into studio one, the studio used to demonstrate the muck in the sprinkler system earlier. Standing up, looking down at them and smiling, while looking at a computer tablet she's holding in her hand is Porcelain.

Porcelain: Are you all awake yet? Good. I was thinking I'd have to start without you.
Katy: What are you doing? Why are me and Mel tied up here?
Porcelain: Why do you think? Did you really think I'd comply and let you two have the final edit? I've seen the way the media likes to portray me. How they demonize me just for not complying to the norm. You expected me to be OK with that?
Mel: But you agreed to work with us?
Porcelain: Like your always upfront, and don't have any ulterior motives. You seemed quite happy to deceive the entire world with this stunt you had me involved in.
Kristy: I hate to say it, but she has a point.
Porcelain: So are you finally coming round to my way of thinking.
Kristy: Your merely the lesser of two evils Porcelain. Don't think I can't wait to kick your ass.
Porcelain: Pity. I thought we had a breakthrough.

As Porcelain paces up and down we see she turns her back away from Kristy. As she does this the camera cuts to Kristy's tied up hands. She reaches behind her to where Mel is and reaches down his trousers, a few seconds later her hands emerge holding the scissors she used to threaten Mel earlier. Keeping them hidden from Porcelain she starts to cut at the zip tie around her wrists.

Porcelain: It makes no difference though. Thanks to the hidden cameras my friends installed around the production office, and the footage of the games we have, thanks to you letting my friends work on the production crew we've been able to put a great show together. One that will finally expose this industry for the fake, contrived lie it really is.
Katy: You really think people will agree to show your film. Your wasting your time if you think anything you edited will ever see the light of day.

The camera cuts back to Kristy's hands to show the zip tie has been cut, and her secretly passing the scissors down so Cleo and Athena can use them.

Porcelain: That's where you've been so useful Katy. You were so desperate for the exposure, and to make an impact, and get the big scoop before anyone else, that you were very quick to agree to my suggestions when I framed them right. You negotiated quite a useful deal. Mostly the fact you negotiated a two hour premier, to be broadcast live with no re-edits or interference from the TV companies, on threat of a lawsuit for breach of contract.
Cleo: Is that true?
Katy: It seemed like a good way to ensure people watched our show, rather than going online to get the news second hand. It doesn't matter, you still won't ever get it broadcast.
Porcelain: That's where your wrong. I'm not one of these comic book villains who tells everyone my big master plan just to then have it stopped. While you were out under the influence of my chlorofoam we made a last few calls to the TV companies and arranged a schedule change. The shows already being broadcast. You should see the buzz we're creating online.

The camera cuts to a shot of Athena, Cleo and Kristy giving each other an acknowledging look.

Katy: What? Why hasn't anyone stopped it? What about the discussions in my office? Surely that would be a red flag.
Porcelain: You'd think, but it seems the people running the TV companies have a short term mentality. The show is drawing huge ratings right now, so who cares if it hurts a few peoples careers, or about any long term consequences. Sound familiar.
Mel: So what are you going to do now.
Porcelain: Sadly the broadcast has brought us to the attention to the authorities. Thankfully they've been convinced to hold back temporarily, but that won't last long, so sadly I have to leave soon. Shame we never got to play the last two games, but you can't have everything.
Kristy: I wouldn't be in such a hurry.

With that the now free Kristy launches herself at Porcelain, attempting a block tackle, aiming her shoulder at her stomach. Porcelain is quick to react though, shifting to the side to avoid some of the impact, catching Kristy off balance, sending both of them sprawling onto the ground. Porcelain reaches down and pulls an aerosol can out of her pocket, and quickly sprays a cloud of white foam in a wide arch, towards Kristy, Cleo and Athena. The camera cuts to them and shows they all splattered with the foam, but have the wherewithal to turn away or cover their faces to avoid the effects of the chlorofoam. This buys Porcelain some time though, as the camera cuts to her grabbing her tablet, and making a bolt for the door, while inputting something on her tablet. Kristy is quick to react though and sprints after Porcelain. As Porcelain dashes through the door it starts to slide shut behind her, forcing Kristy to dive through a narrow gap, before it seals shut behind her as Athena and Cleo reach it.

Cleo: Can you open it?
Athena: It won't budge.
Cleo: What about that other door?
Athena: That leads back to the offices, not into the house.

The camera cuts to a shot of the overview of the room, showing Cleo and Athena trying to force the door, and Katy and Mel still tied up on the floor as a loud beep is heard, quickly followed by a second repetitive beep.

Cleo: Oh My God! Porcelains going to set off the sprinklers, we've got to go.
Athena: What about Kristy?
Cleo: We'll be no help to anyone if we stay here.

The camera cuts to the other door as it starts to slide shut. As it reaches two thirds closed Cleo reaches it and steps in the way, struggling against the motor to hold it open as Athena catches up.

Mel: Hey! What about us?
Athena: Oh, Fuck You!

Athena and Cleo force their way through the door just as it slides shut behind them. The camera cuts to Katy and Mel as they struggle, and scream out in disbelief.

Mel: Noo! Noooooo!

But it's to no avail as the last beep is heard. The sprinklers come on and a deluge of brown sludge rains down on the room below. The camera cuts to a shot looking down on Katy and Mel, still struggling, and trying to protect themselves, but stuck lying on the ground with their hands still tied there's very little they can do. The liquid continues to spray out for a good twenty seconds or so, before the flow of it subsides. The camera cuts to a shot of Katy, as she looks up, her power suit, once well styled hair, and every other part of her body now soaked in a layer of the rank, smelly, brown sludge.
