(Continued from Danielle's Story - Chapter 4...)

Danielle wiped the mud out of her eyes and saw Tammy standing there, ready to lead her back to her dressing room to clean up. She was glad the crew had warmed up the mud, as it felt really good on her skin. She made a mental note to find one of those spas that had mud baths. Although she hoped the application would be much more relaxed.
Tammy handed her a towel to wipe her face and saw everyone smiling at the state she was in. She looked down and saw her outfit was completely covered in dark brown mud. Danielle ran her fingers through her hair and found it in much the same state.
You took that onslaught really well. Tammy said, handing her another towel.
Thanks. It actually feels pretty good on my skin.
I'm glad. I told the guys to warm up the mud before shooting it out at you. It makes a big difference.
Tammy's comment didn't register at that moment, but later that night Danielle wondered how and why Tammy knew to heat up the mud.
Danielle made it to her dressing room and Tammy quickly left the room. Allowing Danielle to start work on getting cleaned up for the final commercial shoot. She turned on the hot water and let it get really warm before stepping in. While she waited she laughed at herself when she saw her reflection in the mirror. What a mess... she said to herself.
Danielle stepped into the shower and let the warm water flow over her. Every time she ran her fingers through her hair, she found more mud. She lost track of the time and just enjoyed the warm water. She didn't even take off the outfit as she was apparently getting used to showering fully clothed. That probably led to her not hearing the door to her room opening and she was startled out of her relaxed state by hearing Tammy's voice.
Hey Danielle! What kind of sandwich do you want? We're placing the order right now.
Danielle didn't really hear her and she was still dressed so she opened up the shower door and stepped out to talk to Tammy. Her outfit was soaked from the shower and her clothes were stuck tight to her body, really highlighting her very large breasts. This move clearly surprised Tammy but Danielle couldn't quite place the look that she gave Danielle. Part of her thought that Tammy actually reacted as if she were checking Danielle out.
Tammy must have seen Danielle's reaction and quickly looked away. I just wanted to know what kind of sandwich you wanted. We are ordering lunch right now. She said very timidly.
I'll do the Turkey panini. Thanks.
"I...I'm sorry I just thought you were done. I didn't mean to interrupt."
"It's ok. I'm still dressed, no harm done. Guess I'm just going to shower in my clothes from now on..."
Tammy laughed and then commented quietly, "Well, you look great."
"What was that?" Danielle asked, knowing full well what she heard, but wanting to see where Tammy would take it.
"I just said you look great. I have some friends that do wetlook shoots and you'd give them a run for their money. I'm sorry, I should go get your lunch ordered. Thanks." And with that Tammy was gone.
Danielle didn't know what Tammy had meant in regards to "wetlook shoots" but she made a mental note to look it up later. Then she began to wonder if Tammy was more into girls. It didn't matter to her, but she hadn't really considered that before. Whatever the case, girl or guy, Danielle was not interested in any relationship. She went back into the shower, which wasn't as warm as it was earlier and quickly finished cleaning herself up, including finally removing her clothes.
After her shower, Danielle threw her workout clothes back on and sat on the couch in the room, just taking a well-earned break. Jeff, the guy who was in the BuzzBee costume, came in, out of costume, and brought in her lunch. "Here you go. How are you holding up?"
"I'm good. This isn't all bad. I'm actually having a pretty good time."
"That's good to hear. After the other day in the office we were all pretty worried about you."
"I'm good. I've never been this messy in my entire life. But I've just decided to have fun with it."
"That's a great attitude and you look great doing it."
"That's not the first time I've heard that today. What does that mean?"
"I think it means you are a very attractive, young woman. And that attractiveness shines through, even when you're covered in mess. I'd take it as a compliment, if it were me."
"Thanks Jeff. That makes me feel better about it."
"A lright, well I've got to go get my lunch and get ready for the final shoot. It's going to be a big mess. Are you ready?"
"I don't think I have a choice. But, yeah, I'm ready. Give me your best shot."
Jeff laughed and left the room. He wasn't a bad guy, Danielle thought to herself. And she wasn't used to getting so many compliments. It was strange, especially since the comments were coming to her while covered in pie or mud. It was weird.
After getting her hair and makeup done again, Danielle got changed into her final outfit of the day. Jennifer had convinced her to wear one of those jersey-like dresses, which of course was a Lions jersey. The dress looked like a basketball jersey, with no sleeves and it was actually fairly low cut over her breasts. The bottom of the jersey sat just above her knees when she was standing. There was some concern about how short it would look when she was sitting during the commercial but the director had committed to not using any shots that revealed too much. She wore some ankle socks and some white tennis shoes to match the Lions home jersey that the dress was made to look like, and of course, she had on her fake glasses, which had really been through the ringer at this point.
This commercial started with Danielle's boss, Jennifer, talking to BuzzBee about her friend who loved the Lions, not the Flyers. The commercial was scheduled to be the second in the series, so according to the timeline, she would not have yet become a fan of the Flyers, like she did in the last shoot.
"I try and I try but she just won't realize how much fun the Flyers games are. All she cares about are the Lions. There's so much to do and see at the games." Jennifer pleaded with BuzzBee for the commercial. "Can you help me get her to realize the fun of a Flyers game?"
BuzzBee held up a sign that read, "More therapy needed!"
The next scene of the commercial was back on the couch that Martin had sat on during the first commercial. This time, however, Danielle was slaying back on the couch, with BuzzBee again playing the psychiatrist in the chair next to it.
"I'm sorry, I just can't root for the Flyers. The Lions are my team!" Danielle yelled out at BuzzBee.
He held up a sign that read, "But the games are a lot of fun to go to!"
"I don't know about that..." She responded, sarcastically.
Then BuzzBee flipped over his sign to reveal another sign, "Time for more drastic therapy."
At that moment a flood of red and yellow paint was dumped out over Danielle. By the time it finished flowing, she didn't have a spot on her body that didn't have red, yellow, or some combination of the two paints on it. The weight of the paint had actually pushed down the top of the dress and later during editing, the video would have to be zoomed in on her face so as not to reveal more of her cleavage. The same thing happened at the bottom of her dress as she had her knees bent up into the air and the weight of the paint pushed the bottom of the dress down towards her rear end, revealing most of her thigh to the camera, again a shot that would later need to be edited out.
For Danielle, she had not expected the coverage that the paint had done to her. The slime was easy to wipe off, but the paint just smeared when she wiped. She hoped that it would all wash out. She didn't want to be the red and yellow lady. She pulled off her glasses and then remembered she had another line to say. She sat up, looked directly into the camera, with paint still dripping down her face, and spoke, "Come out to a game. Paint the town red. You'll have a great time, so I'm told..." She finished her lines by giving the camera a sort of "why me" look and the director yelled out to stop the filming.
Danielle immediately tried to wipe off more of the paint. Some of it wiped off, but it mostly just left behind a big smear of whatever color it was. She realized at that point that her hair was also covered in those same colors. She started to panic because she really loved her long blonde hair. Jennifer saw the panic and yelled to her from the side of the stage. "Don't worry. It will all wash out!" Danielle certainly hoped she was right.
Then Danielle realized she had gotten messy all day but no one else had, so she stood up and started walking towards Jennifer. When people, including Jennifer, saw where she was head, they immediately scattered. Then she turned and headed for the people on the other side of the stage, which included Martin and Jeff, who had already gotten out of his BuzzBee costume. Again, everyone scattered.
"So you guys are going to spend all day getting me messy and I don't get the pleasure of messing up someone else? I see how this is!" Danielle yelled out.
Tammy walked up on stage. "That's not fair. You can get me messy."
"Thank you Tammy."
"And you can get me messy. It's only fair." Jeff spoke up as he walked onto the stage.
"We got anything left?" Danielle shouted out.
A stagehand yelled out, "Hold on!" and then a few moments later came back with a couple of small buckets of pant.
"Ladies first, Tammy?" Danielle asked.
"Sure."
Danielle poured out the bucket of yellow paint over her head. It was fun to be on the other side of this, she thought to herself. The paint flowed over her black hair and onto her green t-shirt and jeans. By the time it finished she was pretty well yellow from head to toe. But Tammy reacted differently than Danielle would have figured. She seemed to love it. In fact, she looked up directly into the paint flowing over her. As Danielle set the bucket down, Tammy was just smearing the paint all over the spots that were clean.
Danielle got a little distracted by that but then realized that Jeff was waiting for his bucket of fun. She picked it up and smiled at him before pouring it out over his head. Jeff's normally curly hair was already matted down from wearing the costume head all day, but the red paint just matted it down to his head even more. The paint just streamed over his head, down his chest and onto the shorts he was wearing. As Danielle shook the bucket to get the last few drops out onto Jeff, she slipped in the mess of paint that covered that area of the stage. She fell back into Tammy and they both tumbled back towards the couch where Danielle had been sitting in a clean state just a few moments earlier. Danielle reached out to grab Jeff's hand as she headed backwards, but all that did was bring Jeff into the slapstick slipping and tumbling act that was happening. When the paint finally settled, Tammy and Danielle were squished together on the couch with Jeff spread out across their legs.
Tammy apparently couldn't help herself and ran her hands all through Jeff's now very red hair, sending paint spraying in all directions. They all laughed as Danielle did the same to Tammy's hair, which led both Tammy and Jeff to smear more paint onto Danielle. It was complete and utter chaos at this point. The three were basically wrestling in the paint mess on the couch. Danielle happened to look up and saw nearly everyone else standing there watching and laughing at their three painted co-workers. That made Danielle a little self-conscious so she stopped wrestling and stood up.
"Can we get a picture of this?" Jennifer shouted out. And almost everyone pulled out their phones as Tammy and Jeff stood on each side of Danielle, all three of them a complete mess of paint. Then there came talk about needing to get all this cleaned up by the end of the day, so the three had to leave the stage so the cleanup could begin. There were only two dressing rooms with full bathrooms, so Jeff went into one and the two ladies made their way into what had been Danielle's room all day.
"Go ahead. I can wait." Danielle said to Tammy, pointing at the shower.
"Come on in, we can at least rinse this paint off together. I mean, we're dressed, I don't think you want that paint to dry on you."
Danielle debated, but the thought of this paint being a permanent coloring of her hair was enough to convince her to agree to Tammy's offer. The water was warm, but the shower wasn't really made for two people. The two ladies were right against each other, both trying to rinse off as much of the paint as they could. Danielle was a good 4-5 inches taller and she felt bad because it seemed like as she rinsed her hair off, it just went down onto Tammy. Tammy didn't seem to be too bothered by it. She seemed to be enjoying herself.
"Jeff seemed to really enjoy that." Tammy said as she washed more of the paint off of her arms.
"What do you mean?"
"Did you see how he was when we were wrestling on the couch together? He was pretty clearly in an aroused state."
Danielle had not noticed that. "Oh...yeah...I guess I was kind of carried away in the fun and kind of blocked it out." She was completely lying, but apparently it had been very obvious to Tammy. Guess that answered her questions about Tammy liking girls or boys.
"Well, it looked pretty nice. I'm going to have that image in my head for a while..."
Danielle wasn't sure how to react. "I guess I didn't notice it that much..."
"I'm sorry, I just kind of got carried away. I didn't mean to offend you or whatever..."
"It's fine. I've trained myself to not notice people in that way. I don't want to get into any relationships for a few years. I want to get my career right first."
"Soyou don't think about or do anything. I don't have that much self-control, nor would I want to. It doesn't have to always be relationships, sometimes you can just go out and have fun."
Danielle had not expected the conversation in the shower to go like this. She couldn't wait for it to be over, this was making her feel very awkward. Tammy was making it sound like she was some sort of party girl slut that just went out to get some action whenever she felt like it. The two could not have been more different in that regard. "I just know what I want. I stay focused and work to reach my goals, not letting anything else get in the way. That other stuff will happen when I'm ready for it."
"Ok, I didn't mean to make this anymore awkward than it already is. Here, I'm fairly clean, I'm going to get out and let you finish. I've got a change of clothes in my car I can go grab and get out of here. Thanks for the fun afternoon. Oh, and there's a special soap in that blue bottle that does a great job of getting the paint off of your skin." And with that Tammy got out of the shower, toweled off a bit and walked out of the room in her very wet jeans and t-shirt.
Danielle just stood in the shower for a few moments, trying to process those last couple of exchanges with Tammy. She wondered if she was really too career focused, she wondered if she was missing out on stuff that she should be enjoying at this point of her life, and she wondered why she seemed to be enjoying getting messy, which was something that Tammy clearly seemed to enjoy too. "I need a drink." She said out loud as she peeled out of her little jersey dress and worked on getting the remaining paint off of her with the soap that Tammy had left for her, as Danielle's soap was just not doing the trick.
