The loose, bottomless, brownish mud sucks Irene down inch by inch as she struggles. Inevitably, she ends up completely below the surface. Then she surfaces and dives a few more times, and escapes.

( A very minor thing though, I wish in subscription view you could still view the description for the scene as I do often find them hot, especially ones that ham up the struggle and resistance against the quicksand)
