Candle is determined to cross a dangerous looking bog. She seems a little daft, until Saraliz comes to the rescue and redefines clueless! It's fun to see Candle as a foil for once, as the thick and gurgling mire slowly consumes them both. But the bog tastes Candle first, as Saraliz tries and tries again to pull the larger gal out of the trap. But eventually, they sink side by side, never really giving up until the very end. Well played with both humor and drama, this is a very enjoyable tale!
