Jane and Nina launch themselves into the deep peat pit for fun, but they eventually find out that getting in is a whole lot easier than getting out. Once their summer clothes are wet and filled with muck, they add to the problems their sneakers cause them deep in the mire. But, it's all fun at first. Nina, in orange and her sister-in-law Jane (in yellow) jump as far as they can into the gooey peat. They climb out and jump back in repeatedly. Eventually though, they find themselves together in the deepest part. With nobody to lend a hand, they struggle mightily to finally escape the clutches of the bog!
