Melena portrays a Native American girl. Once on a hunt, she wandered too far from her familiar places and found herself next to the swamps. A wide bog blocked her way, it was impossible to bypass it. Therefore, Melena decided to ford this swamp. She probed the bottom of this mud pit using her hunting stick and made sure the path was safe. But she was wrong...

Melena took a step forward and instantly fell into a swampy bog. At first she tried to use her stick to help herself out, but it was useless. Then she threw the stick aside and tried to actively move her arms, resisting the sinking, but this didn't work either. She gradually sank deeper and deeper, perplexedly looking around and trying to hold on to the grass. However, her efforts were insufficient and the mud reached her head. Now she was desperately floundering in the bog, randomly moving her arms, sinking and surfacing. She emerged from the mud several times in a row, but each time quicksand sucked her back. Taking a deep breath, her head plunged back into the mud, completely hiding under the surface.
