In Baby Filth's debut quicksand sinking performance, she wears a full-length, shiny, red spandex unitard with black briefs. She strides out across the sand bed, the slurping earth eager to suck to her down. She stands in one spot and she starts to sink... slowly... past her calves, her knees, and up past her thighs. She pitches forward and back and the quicksand bubbles and splats as she continues downwards. Wriggling and twisting, she claws at the sand, sinking in all the way to her chest, looking at you--the viewer, who is in total control of her fate, it seems--and pleads for her rescue. After a brief fadeout a short, composite set of clips shows her extrication and escape. A wonderful, lively, dramatic, short sink into the quicksand!
