The summer of 2013 is unusual, with the entire kingdom bathed in brilliant sunlight and a heatwave sweeping across the wilds of Langstonedale. But 2012 was rather more typical, with downpours, showers, drizzle, and all the miriad other ways that rain can fall here. Even the glorious Diamond Jubilee for Her Majesty was a day of continuous rain. This inspired our gardener, Chastity, to come up with an entirely new, and completely practical outfit for fashionistas, or at least those who follow Langstonedale's water-friendly styles, to sport on the beach, comprising of a waterproof rainsuit, black rubber gauntlets, and union jack wellies worn over a black bikin. Of course any beachwear has to be able to be worn in, as well as about, the water, so Chastity took to the river in her new outfit to properly test it.
