Leila Hazlett is running late for her performance so she decides to take a shortcut through the woods. She gets worried however when she isn't sure that she is on the right path. She gets annoyed because her shoes keep getting sucked off from the thick mud. She decides to take her shoes off and carry them even though that means getting her brand new dance tights all muddy. As she walks through the mud she gets her feet stuck when she is about knee deep in mud. After struggling a bit she manages to free herself and keeps going forward. But she takes another wrong step and now sinks deeper into the mud. As she struggles she keeps sinking and then she realizes she is in quicksand. She panics and calls for help as she sinks down to her chest. Eventually she remembers that there is a way to get out of quicksand. She leans back and with a lot of effort pulls one leg out of the mud. She then turns over on her stomach laying chest down on top of the quicksand and frees the other legs after a lot of struggling. She wipes some of the mud off her outfit and heads out of the woods.
