YouTube is the main place we post our videos. We do appreciate Messmaster giving us free space here, but there is a 10 minute time limit and every view cost Derek in bandwidth. One of our recent edits may be a bit risque for YouTube's ambiguous standards (no nudity but leotard filling, cake sitting and suggestive rubbing), anyone know if uploading it as an "unlisted" video and putting the link in a post here would be a viable option to fly under their radar??

It does not matter whether you post to Youtube as a Public or Private or Unlisted Video or even as a Draft.video...their bots are all-seeing eyes who probe into all areas of your channel.
Here is an example: I usually uploaded videos in large blocks of videos at one time, and I make 1 public and leave the rest as "Drafts" or "Unlisted" or "Private" and their nosey bots still probe into those areas and I get notices for music copyright issues and many of my videos get "Age Restricted" before I even publish them.
I just had another of my YT channels terminated last week, and this is the 5th time in the past several years that my channels have been deleted....without even a warning. These days they delete my channels despite me having no strikes and no warnings. Then they have the gaul to send me an email telling me I am deleted for "repeated violations"....which is a lie, because how can I have "repeated violations" when I never had any strikes or warning notices at all. They normally use the "catch all" excuse....saying that my media is spam and a scam (no it is not).
Tiktok is just as bad. I have had 2 channels deleted on Tik Tok the last 12 months. I did not post anything R or G rated...only PG scenes...and they still deleted my channels.
I still have 3 Youtube channels online....but I do not trust them as they are unreliable and arbitrary with their bot moderations.
If you produce adult media, then the more reliable sources I use are:
1) X (Twitter) - I upgraded to Premum so now I can upload videos up to 2hrs long, and X rated is allowed.
2) OK.ru and VK.com - they both allow adult media and I have had channels with them for 4 years and no problems.
3) I also use Google Drive cloud hosting for some files,
4) Based on a customer recommendation, I have started to use the ODYSEE platform, which is a block chain open source platform where it is impossible for anyone to moderate or delete you on this platform, because it is all anonymous and decentralized. So far this platform seems useful to me...here is my Odysee channel. There are no limits or restrictions and no moderators.

The only downside is, once you upload something it can NEVER be edited or deleted. It remains in the blockchain forever....which is no problem for me, but some may not like this.

Been thinking about this sense the thread started
The thing is tube sites aren't promoted in here but those sites probably wouldn't terminate your account but I don't want to recommend them for hosting because that brings up a whole can of warms so I'm thinking still on how to do without causing any harm or mischief

I loathe Youtube and their double standards, but I need their traffic, especially for my Patreon channel. If I post a trailer on UMD or the Wetlook Forum, I get only 100-200 views. If I post on Twitter I have over 2000 followers but have 22K subscribers on my Youtube channels and I get from 20K to 75K views on most of my videos, so I get more views on YT than any other platform.
I am constantly amused at how YT content creators manage to invent new ways to fool Youtube A.I. bots into thinking that their video is not sexual, and is just educational or a lifestyle. For example, these "try on" videos where a girl claims to be testing trying on different pantyhose or lingerie ...making it seem like this is a consumer service or shopping channel video. Come on ... that is a stripping video and if that is not sexual than I am a monkey's uncle. If you label your striptease video a "try on" video then it will fly past the A.I. bots. There have been hundreds of these "wet vs dry" videos on Youtube where they claim to be a consumer service to analyze the effects of different fabrics under the shower. All these vids get a free pass. Give me a break. A.I. is too dumb to recognize sexual content when it is right under their noses. And don't get me started on the entire "ASMR" craze. ASMR may have some legitimate origins but today it is hijacked by the fetish industry, especially Japanese oil massage.
Legendary nudie film producer Doris Wishman and many other adult producers in the 1960s used to get their nude films passed by the censors on the guise of them portraying naturism as a healthy lifestyle and this media not being sexual. That was a ruse because most of girls seen in these films were professional nude models and not real naturists, but it was a great ruse for them to get their films passed by the Film Censors. Try posting an erotic mud message video on YT and see how quickly it is taken down, then post the same video and call it "ASMR" and you will get a pass.

Using Youtube is like going to the bathroom.....it is not fun nor pleasant, but it is a necessary part of everyday life.

I post all of my work on YouTube, and since the beginning I've had the understanding that anything I post to my channel is on borrowed time. I don't post anything revealing or sexual, so one of my primary concerns - due to the nature of my work being animated and the algorithm being dumb as a box of rocks - is YouTube misidentifying it as a For Kids video, but the channel being suspended/banned/etc is always a risk. Finding a suitable alternative would be great, but man... free hosting and streaming to a massive audience makes it so hard to pass up.

reading your thoughts on this topic just made me feel more sane. You hit the nail on the head. Yeah. I will keep using that idiotic platform. Yeah, I will keep saying whatever I have to say. Because, annoyingly, YouTube works. And the YouTube to Patreon pipeline is absolutely fire. So here I am. On my third YouTube channel... so many duplicate channels that fans were getting worried somebody was copying me!! Nope!! That's my sorry ass

And out of respect to the folks who started this thread, I'd like to address your concerns, too! I think I had an unlisted video get flagged and taken down once. I'm pretty sure it's an algorithm thing. No clue. I pay for Vimeo premium and it is greatttttt file hosting. I am pretty sure you can use their free version too if you don't have a ton of content. Otherwise, just upload on YouTube till a video gets flagged. It's not the end of the world.

Youtube is a necessary evil that we have to live with. It is a fact of life that folks who run Patreon channels need Youtube for traffic. A friend I know is a non-Wam adult fetish producer who has one of the most successful Patreon channels and is listed among the top 10 of Patreon channels in the world for Adult Fetish content and who has over 2000 members. He is constantly playing the game of promoting his adult content while walking the tightrope of trying to stay within the boundaries of both Youtube AND also Patreol Community Guidelines, and he has been very successful at this game for the last 4 years and has consistently had 2000 to 2500 members on his Patreon channel at $10 per month on his non-Wam fetish channel.
The strategy is pretty simple, i.e.
a) For Youtbube - make trailers sexy but keep them tame in order to avoid the obvious triggers that can get you strikes or terminations.
b) No matter how hard you try, the Youtube bots will eventually target you and "the Sword of Damocles" (a famous quote from a Three Stooges pie fight) will come down on your head. Don't worry about that, just ALWAYS have 2-3 backup Youtube channels ready to go, when your primary channel gets knocked down. It's an amusement arcade game called "Wack a Mole" and you play this game all the time with Youtube, they will knock down one channel of yours and you come up with the next one.
c) Keeping your Patreon channel online and abiding by their rules is a lot more important, because you don't lose anything when playing Wack a Mole with Youtube, but losing your Patreon channel can be a significant financial loss so you need to tread much more carefully with Patreon and their rules. They will allow soft R rated adult content but not harder R or X rated content. I have been suspended twice on Patreon in the last 2 years, and while I appealed both times and I won my appeals and they reinstated my channel, the damage was already done because during the time they froze my channel I lost 50% of my members who left because they thought I was done for. So be careful not to push the envelope too much on Patreon, while Youtube is OK because you simply replace one channel with another channel, and carry on regardless.
d) the Patreon posting strategy that works for me and others I know is:
1)keep your imbeded images and trailer videos that Patreon can see relatively tame.
2) Do NOT post direct url links to hard adult content sites (if you have an external website). I just post vague references to my sites without mentioning specific urls. I mostly post my trailers to YT first, and then I embed those YT videos into Patreon, because it the video is allowed on Youtube, then you are safe to post it to Patreon as well.
3) Obviously your Patreon members will want to access your full length uncensored media....and that is fine. Just don't embed it into your channel, and instead use cloud hosting links instead and post your full length media to places like Google Drive, DropBox etc. The Patreon moderators suspended me twice because they found links to my external sites that they deemed to be a porn site, and they have a banned list of porn domains that they do not allow. Unfortunately they deem Clips4sale, Manyvids, UMD and Vidown (Mothership) domains to be porn, so I could not post links to several of my hosting sites. However, they deem Google Drive to be a general hosting non porn site and their bots do not check Google Drive links and they will allow those links, so for $10 a month for 2TB of storage space you can host all kinds of adult media on a Google Drive account.

You could have a woman standing still wearing full Amish garb, singing hymns while cows graze in the background and Youtube's ToS Bots will find something wrong with it. They are LITERALLY that bad right now.
I am inclined to say don't because Youtube has become increasingly aggressive lately (they nuked our channel). I am not sure how they would approach unlisted videos but their ToS does not specify whether or not they will discern what is listed publicly or privately. It's honestly anyones guess but they literally gave me a strike for just my profile despite no links being attached to it and nothing that would violate ToS on the landing page.
Again, all socials are kinda on the defensive and something tells me it has a bit to do with the latest judiciary hearings in Washington concerning IG.
If you do decide to share on Youtube as unlisted, disable comments as those can flag you if your audience can't keep the fetish chat to a minimum there.
Assuming if you have no previous violations and you get a strike for it. Pull it, and just make sure you don't repost anything similar on there (they log IP addresses that become problematic).
