You should beware of the difference between biological sex vs gender. If you insist on using the terms interchangeably, then you'll always be the confused one.
It's nothing new for the people who live it--they're just a little more fee to be themselves nowadays despite constant rejection from people like you.
Thanks for being honest. I disagree with your premise. Please become informed. People don't make up their mind about who they are. They make up their minds about whether to "come out" because of ignorant hatred from those unwilling to accept what they don't understand (like the reality of diversity). You are always free to only want Hetero relationships with other cis gender people. Casting aspersions on those who don't fit the binary only serves to foment prejudice and fear. Do some research. Gender has become male and female for religious convenience. But, many traditions previously recognized more that just male and female genders. The Talmud identified at least six genders. Native Americans recognized transgender individuals as "two Spirit" and held them in high esteem as Shaman. Rather than relegating non-cisgender people to the shadows to avoid violence, how about we hang out with those we find attractive, and leave the others to find their own? I personally have no interest in spanking. But, if spanking makes people who include it in their play happy, I hope they don't get put down for loving it by non-spank fans. If "Live and let live" doesn't work for you, maybe this site is not where you belong. Thanks for letting us know how you think.
