Yes, it's rare for us, but it's happening, so we're all a bit excited.
Of course, being trolled can be very serious and upsetting for lots of people, but in our case, we're trying to make light of it.
So, what happened? We had to politely decline someone's offer of appearing in films 'locked in a cage' and 'left' with some of our featured models. These requests are quite regular and we understand that people get a bit excited sometimes. We're actually cool with that generally, even if we can't fulfil such requests for hopefully obvious reasons.
Unfortunately, he has taken a bit of an issue with this and decided to troll us using multiple Twitter and Instagram accounts and even contact a number of models, affiliates and followers. Luckily, most people take one look at his profile and it's pretty clear to see this is quite a regular thing for him to do and we're not the only ones.
As well as knowing we are a pretty decent bunch here really anyway.
But, this is something that comes with running a so-called 'fetish' website and I think every website owner will have stories to tell.
We don't usually respond to such things, but he has started using quite nasty phrases such as 'racism' so, in this case, we are going to call him out on it.
We don't mind being called 'nasty bastards' or 'rubbish' for not letting him play with our models, but I think using serious words that genuinely affect people's lives is a step too far, especially as we are so passionately against any form of racism. Incidentally, we don't actually know his race.
Good thing is, we have all his emails and tweets and our responses saved, so we are quite satisfied that he was given a courteous email from our responder in question.
Anyway, as a bit of fun, we thought we'd take this opportunity to share the most common insults used after having the awkward job of declining OTT requests that just cannot happen and some good ways of dealing with them if they do happen to you...
So, this is our Top 5 based on what we've seen on the web and in some cases, experienced ourselves: (you might want to press play on the video below before reading for the full effect!)
At Number 5: 'The website is full of viruses and malware'
A common one this one and makes it in at number 5, but if you find yourself on the receiving end of these libellous claims, there are ways to prevent it. Simply register with sites like TrustPilot or McAfee and they scan your site every 24 hours or so and give you a public trust score. We have this and it's a great way of saying, well, I don't think so Sonny Jim!
At Number 4, down 2 places this week: 'They treat their models like shit', or 'the producer is a sexual harasser'.
Luckily, the latter hasn't happened to us yet, but it still appears to be a common one for disgruntled trolls. Yes, a bit of a hard-hitting one this one too, but this can be combatted through reviews on impartial model sites like PurplePort and having a 100% satisfaction rating.
Also, another helpful tip, ensuring there are at least 1 male and 1 female staff member in addition to the model/participant present on every shoot, and the use of CCTV in public areas around your studios is helpful (even if you shoot from home) obviously not in private changing areas.
A non-mover at Number 3: 'Their models are all ugly'.
Another one for the classics there, but, you can easily counter this by looking at your sales and/or responses and throwback to them that they wanted to get messy with them 5 minutes ago so.... yeah!
In at Number 2 this week: 'Their customer service is appalling'.
Well, I guess this is one that we shouldn't really comment on ourselves, but I think we're pretty good at our CS, we don't get many complaints and the rare occasions that we do we take them seriously and generally resolve them quickly, they're usually technical complaints so, if that happens, keep professional and courteous to feedback and complaints and you can bat it back easily if trolled.
And finally, topping the chart at Number 1: 'The website is a scam'.
It's such a common one this one, but so filled with open holes. Just get them to look at the reviews, or better still, that fact that no one has mentioned this terrible fictitious 'scam' anywhere on the internet or social media, at anytime. Job Done!
Remember, this is just a bit of fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
You really haven't been trolled until someone sets up a YouTube account with no videos or anything to take down..... Just an "Information" section that consists of personal disparaging remarks about you and WAM, along with all your personal information (real name, real address, real phone #).
And of course YouTube does nothing, because "there are no objectionable videos in this account."
Those were fun times! The guy posing as me to convince underage girls to send him pics & videos of themselves getting pied (because he was a "big-time photographer who would pay them $1000 per shoot once he saw their audition footage") was a good one too.
I did catch a couple of the tweets from those accounts yesterday - it looked to me like someone had set up an account claiming his lifelong wish was to shoot with you or something, and claiming that they weren't being allowed it? Seemed very bizarre and had put it down to one of the "get gunged in jeans" spammers on Twitter. Sorry to hear they went even further with it though - not quite sure what people ever expect to get out of that? That you'd give in and let them visit out of pity or something? Crazy.

Be careful if you see someone standing outside of your house with a copy of Catcher in the Rye.

Some of us are over 40 year-old virgins with no jobs or functional social lives. Ageist!
Yeah, I was gonna say why they gotta be young. You know you become a wizard when you hit age 30. You only lose your powers if you use them to get with a woman.
Also, that's really fucked up Rich... I really don't understand what people get out of being such RAGING assholes. I'm sure they enjoy it, but I just can't see the appeal.
I'm laying here rubbing my clit dreaming of the day someone looks at me with enough respect to troll me and try and destroy my big biz... gotta go... I'm about to cum!!!!!

Feel free to share more...
I'm pleased you managed to take something so negative and smile about it.
We too have experienced this sort of thing and it can really be quite upsetting! The customer was harassing Messy_Miss on a number of forums so we refused to produce anything more for them. This client then decided to go around announcing how we were racists and had used the ultimate of naughty racist words! To this day I have no idea what nationality they actually are? Lol!
We should have followed in your steps and let it go as what it is... belligerent trolling... but I must admit it did get to us quite badly! People don't realise how damaging/hurtful simple comments can be. What an age we live in...
I hope your post will inspire others, like ourselves, to ignore those who don't deserve our time and keep on having fun

How did they get all your person info? Were you hacked?
oilslick said: How did they get all your person info? Were you hacked?
I've been open in the past about myself... Not providing personal info, but back when people were ordering DVDs they were at least able to get my full name (as a lot of folks were writing checks & money orders to me). I suspect this dude got my name that way, and used these online "personal searches" to find the rest. Kinda creepy, but what can you do.
One advantage of the UMD being a bit larger and more impersonal is that folks don't seem to have personal grudges anymore. Back when we were a tighter-knit community, folks would get REALLY angry about small things and lash out in bizarre ways.
One of the scariest stories I ever heard was a former producer was being stalked by a guy who really hated him for whatever reason. (This other guy actually did a few "productions" as well but mostly helped out a different producer.) The guy found his personal home number, called his wife, and "outed" him as a WAMmer to her. The joke was on him--she'd known about everything for years and told him to "fuck off"--but just the idea that someone would go to those lengths to ruin someone else's ACTUAL real life is..... awful.
