I dont know why but it really grinds my gears when I hear people refer to one producer as doing "classy" wam. What it feels like to the rest of us? Is that if we aren't doing "classy"? Then what are we doing? Trashy?

Not a term I've ever used, to me it sounds like a throwback to the way the previous generation (and I'm Gen-X) decsribed things.
There was a time when at least in the UK there were two distinct "levels" of porn. Then there were the much more down-market (and cheaper) magazines which were all about closeups of genitals or breasts, sold to guys who probably never got to see such detail anywhere else.
The more upmarket photography was sometimes referred to as "classy", seen as more highbrow than just "tits and bits". But any such division has lost all meaning now, the entire industry has changed beyond all recognition.
I'll admit I miss the days when you did fully-clothed scenes, but guessing the money is in the ones you do now, and I'd certainly never try and claim one style is "classier" than another, there's such an enormous range of styles and tastes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think there's a division that pits "glamor erotica" (Rob Blaine's milieu), focusing on the beauty of the models connected to the sexual situation against shoots and videos that accentuate the porn itself or the exploring of a fetish. But these friendless souls deserve our pity. It sucks to suck, and it sucks worse to not even know you suck.

I think you are hitting the nail right on the head. I don't understand out of all the adjectives someone could use why they use classy. It is actually a strange thing to use. i guess I need to watch how I say things too. When i mean wam is wam is wam? I mean that everything around here is something that someone gets off to. Everyone that contributes? Has someone who loves it or lots of someones. Hence the phrase "wam is wam is wam"
also? I have a great respect for people really working hard to put out top quality stuff. I mean? I have some top quality stuff I worked so hard to do--and hired crews to help me do. I have just recently spent a lot to upgrade some equipment for this reason. Just like someone will notice a well lit video with smooth transitions and nice camera work? Some people enjoy a homemade style video as it puts you more in the "real raw" of it.

I don't like the word classy or civil as I was told they have been historically used to keep people of color and or lower class people segregated as their cultures or mindsets are incorrect. It's flattering you view my work as "artsy"
though I would never characterize my work like that myself. wam has so many facettes and niches, that I would have a hard time to generally view a production as either "classy" or "non-classy". For myself it's most important that I enjoy what I see. Usually I like high production value and commitment to detail, but sometimes it can be the lowest production quality or an old LQ tv capture that still can work because one aspect of a video or photo clicks for me.
As for my own productions I started with photography and always tried to produce what I like to see myself in terms of model-look, outfit and substance used. I don't try to cater a certain audience but rather hope that some out there share my taste and return as customers. It's not my preference to go into nudity or explicit content, but I would never regard content of that kind to be non-classy, it's just another aspect of our kink.
