Have any stories been made into a video?

I would not doubt that wam scenes have been inspired by some stories. What I am wondering is if anyone has written a story and asked for a producer to make a custom video for it. Has someone gotten a custom from someone else's story?

Are there any examples where someone can link the story and link the video?

If anyone had their story made into a custom, did it live up to your imagination and expectations? Exceeding them?

I know writing a story is different from writing a screenplay or custom script. Wam producers don't hire professional actors, and acting and reciting dialogue is difficult. Still, it is interesting to see realizations of ideas.

I think that a number of existing stories would need to be trimmed back to make a custom based on the volume of mess and of course the lack of facilities available to film it.
It would be interesting to know if a Producer is interested in collaborating with a writer, either a new story or one from the archives.
