Hey everyone!

I am really excited to be able to finally tell you about an event a few of us have been planning for a while now. If you've ever wanted to see a live gunging or maybe even take part in one yourself, this event is for you!

On Tuesday 14th March we are holding an evening of gunge games in a brilliant venue in South London.

Guests will have the opportunity to win a place in a live game of Avoid the Ace in the London Gungeon, playing against the model of your choice. Several of your JnC studio favourites will be there! Watch them take their turns in the Gunge Tank while their cards are revealed... One of them will get covered in thick slime!
After this there will be gunge games in the basement, so those who didn't get messy in Avoid the Ace will have the opportunity to play group games, where you're guaranteed to get the gunge!

There's no requirement to get messy, with a dedicated clean area for those that just wish to spectate.

There is a bar, which will be open throughout the evening and we will also be providing snacks (for eating, not throwing!). There are also hot showers in the basement, so you'll need to bring a towel and some clean clothes to wear home!

The ticket prices are staggered, so the earlier you book the cheaper your ticket will be! We have sold half of the Early Bird tickets already!

Unfortunately Maria won't be in the UK in March, but we will have some brilliant models there for the games... names will be released in the coming weeks!

sounds amazing! Will the gunge tank and all of the action be taking place downstairs/hidden away or will there be a possibility of sitting at the bar upstairs and watching?

I'm tempted to get messy too...just need to arrange clothing etc as will be after work.

It's aimed at everyone confirmed models so far are female but we're hoping to sign up a male model too

The gunge tank games will take place upstairs, near the bar, so we are expecting to have an audience for it The rest of the gunge games will be in the basement, but there will be space for people to stay dry and spectate. And the bar will be open all evening

You will need spare clothes and a towel if you want to join in with the mess. The microfibre travel towels are good as they pack up small!

This sounds utterly awesome, huge congratulations on getting it off the ground! At the moment no idea if can make it or not, but I really hope you have a truly awesome event and it becomes a regular fixture! Go you guys!

This is tremendous - wish I was on the other side of the pond to take part but I look forward to hearing how it goes and hoping that there will be more events like this!

We're all really excited about this event and it's great to see lots of interest and questions being asked all over the place. I've had a number of emails and messages asking me what to expect because it's their first time at anything like this. And I'm not surprised, these events don't happen that often - they are hard to arrange and financially poor. Even if there is any money made it's well below the minimum wage if you calculate the amount of time that goes into it.

Please do support this event if you can, we appreciate that it's in London AND on a Tuesday but if this goes well, we intend to have the event on a Sunday which will no doubt make it easier for people to get to the event.

This sounds fantastic! Unfortunately my chances of making it are fairly small since it'll be my birthday that day (yes, I know, all the more excuse!) but I very much hope to attend any that take place in the future.

@herheart it would be great to have you at our next event (assuming that we're going to be holding one). But maybe I'll get a chance to something splosh at Woostock this year? Have a great birthday and catch up with you again soon.

The more I think about this, the more I think it's the best idea I've ever heard. Gungey games in a public but safe environment with like minded people.

For the second part of our evening, you are welcome to join us in the basement for some more fun and messy games. We'll start with a game of Messy Buckets - pit your wits against other sploshers in a test of knowledge and speed. Don't get the question wrong or there will be slimy consequences. Delays and hesitation will also result in a gunging. Or maybe you'll fare better in game of pure luck. Prizes for anyone that manages to stay clean. Messy contestants will also be given some space to have some freeform, slippery fun. Clothing (or lack of it) is completely up to you, get messy in whatever you like. The hot showers are located in the basement so you're only a few steps away from getting yourself clean and ready to face the real world. There's no requirement to get messy with a dedicated clean area for those that just wish to spectate. Drinks and snacks will continue to be available from the upstairs bar throughout.

Yes, this! We did talk about making a private FB event, which we still may do. I'll post up here if/when it happens!

There will be very limited (if any) filming of the event, due to our privacy policy for our audience members. Hopefully we will be able to capture a model or two getting gunged, but I can't guarantee anything, especially as this is the first time we have done anything like this - it's very hard to predict what will be feasible on the night. Most of our efforts will be focussed on ensuring a fun-filled, stress-free live event for our guests.

We do have an official photographer coming, so at the very least we should be able to share with you some great photos afterwards

I booked my ticket today, and I can't wait. I'm sure I'll be super nervous as I've never done any sploshing in public, but I'm sure I'll love it.

Is anyone else going on their own? No one knows I like sploshing (even my wife), so I'll be Billy no mates. It doesn't bother me too much, as there will be beer, mess and women getting messy!

Thanks for all the interest, I'm amazed by the ticket sales so far and it's only been a week.

I will say that it would be beneficial for people to get to know each other beforehand for making the group games and free time quicker to get into. Like knowing that you can have some messy fun with someone before you turn up.

All ticket holders have a copy of our rules and know how highly we value consent, so no just chucking slime around and seeing who it hits.

I think a large proportion of the attendees will be on their own, to be honest. The venue opens an hour before the games begin, so the earlier you can arrive the better, as it will give time for socialising and getting to know each other a bit. I've found from splunches that it's always great being able to put a face to a username, especially when I've exchanged messages with them or read their posts online.

Speaking of splunches, we're really hoping to arrange one for before the event, so keep an eye out for that and come along to meet some others who are also attending the games. Maybe we should also organise another mass UMD chat, so people can at least get to know names of other people who are coming along. I'll consult the team and come up with a date!

Sigh...I would love to take part but there's no way I can on this particular date. I do hope all goes well and can happen again as this is a fantastic idea.

If I do resolve to go (it doesn't just depend on my bottle, either, I'm also waiting for foot surgery and I bet Lady Luck sees to it I can't walk on the 14th), it will certainly be on my own.
