I'm sure most of us remember back in 2011 when Melissa Gilbert was pied on the daytime show The Talk. The pieing was a result of a game they were playing where they made reference to her sister and cohost Sara getting pied in an earlier episode. The pieing was good for mainstream standards. It was presented as a surprise and so the whipped cream had melted while they waited. It still made for a good shot even with the whipped cream being runny.
The video itself has seem to have been scrubbed from the internet though. I can find the clip from when Sara got pied, but all I can find on Melissa getting pied is an old blogspot post redirecting to CBS which has since removed the episode.
I'd love to see the clip again if anyone snagged it. I enjoyed the setup and the aftermath. But I wonder why it's so hard to come by now. Any theories?
(I know Melissa was reportedly not happy about how she was pied and complained that the host pied her too hard. But aside from that, I don't know)
Relying on years-old YouTube links for your WAM needs is incredibly cost-efficient, but also risky. Perhaps you should download particular videos you like (also for free) when you find them to avoid this happening again?
Say what you will about the days of buying cliptapes, but at least I had those scenes permanently. (Some of which have STILL not ever surfaced online...)

Yeah she claimed she did it hard. Maybe how hard she pressed into her face? But aside from that, she seemed to take it pretty well in the live shot and had to have a heads up beforehand going by the jacket that she had covering her clothes.
Don't know what changed between the shot and afterwards

Yeah the issue here is I HAD the clip on my old hard drive before it crashed years ago. When I built my most recent computer, I would look for some of the clips I lost. This was one I could never find afterwards. But my post wasn't really to ask for it, more so to see if anyone knew of theories as to why the clip is hard to come by now.
