2nd Moderna on Thursday evening - my arm definitely felt much more sore than the 1st shot. Friday morning at work, I started to develop chills so I called out and went home for the day and spent most of yesterday cycling through stages of alternating chills and fevers, along with a headache. Not super fun but after a decent night's sleep I feel 95% better now (Saturday morning) with only a slight headache - no chills or fevers
I got my second Moderna shot earlier this week and really there were no after effects. I felt a little groggy or a bit out of place the next day but it went away in a few hours. My wife had hers a day later and she felt kind of rough but was fine the next day. Despite all the discussion it is apparently possible to go through it without much trouble.
I felt slightly tired after my first dose of Pfizer, and had a sore arm. Nothing that severe though, as I was still able to do push day in the gym with no real issue. My father felt nothing, not even a sore arm, where as my friend felt awful after her second dose though. Just goes to show that we all react differently.
I was a little tired after the first Pfizer shot and a little dizzy, but nothing bad - I still went to work. After the second shot, I had a low-grade fever that lasted almost two days (!?!) but was not as severe as I expected. I also had a medium headache that lasted almost as long, and my legs were sore (that part I didn't expect). I did drink a lot of water right after and during the recovery period, which probably helped.
Mike Nomic said: I was estimated to get my first jab in late March, but we're so far ahead of the game in the south-west, that I got it on 10th Feb. I had the AZ, didn't even feel it, and had NO side effects whatsoever.
I had my second dose of AZ on 22nd April; felt the needle go in, but again NO side-effects - no soreness, no tiredness, no headaches, nothing.
Just curious - I got the flu vaccine in October just because I always do and had very little reaction with the Covid vaccine. I read a couple times where the flu vaccination was thought to "prime" your immune system to fight Covid as well. Anybody else have this experience?
Up until about 2017 I regularly got caught up on all kinds of vaccinations for medieval infectious disease because it was required when I traveled to Central America. Just wondering if there's any anecdotal evidence here that might explain why I have avoided the bug without much effort.

I've developed a theory that many "germaphobes" have weak immune systems because they work so hard to avoid ANY exposure that their immune systems become "out of shape" because rarely do they encounter infections that need an immune response? (so continued vaccinations probably has kept your immune system in better than average shape?)
And then there are anti-biotics... they say what they do, they do what they say (IF you read ALL of the fine print???) I hope i never HAVE to take antibiotics for anything (probably an eventuality of some sort) I dare to even bring religion into this, but won't expound any further on that factor for the moment!
I read a book or 2 on the "gerson therapy" and one VERY strong impression that i was left with: consider the pharmaceutical business (emphasis on BUSINESS) do i develop a drug that you take one time, are cured, and never need again? Or do i develop something else... something that lessons the effects of the SYMPTOMS but doesn't cure you? (opioid crisis anyone?)
Back in July 2020, two roommates of mine both got a moderate case of covid-19. Oh yeah, the temporary couch surfer as well: the stats? 3 guys, ages 27, 34, 59. I thought the old guy might not make it. Somehow i did not catch it. I didn't try TOO hard to isolate, nor did i throw caution to the wind either...
Oh yeah, had an unplanned chat with a 91 year old guy yesterday. He was in the hospital last summer for a whole month. The doctors told him he probably would have died if he had not been in very good shape. Currently he has not yet returned to the fitness level that he had pre-covid...
Well, I had my second dose of Pfizer this morning, it's now mid-afternoon, and I don't feel anything as of yet. Hopefully that doesn't change, and I avoid all the typical symptoms.
I'm booked in for my first May 17th and second early August. No idea which one I'll get and don't really care... just one of them, any of them please! Henners got his the day after booking but I've had a 2 week wait so far and a few more days to go. Gahh feels like forever

I'm a big believer in that. One reason we have so many people growing up with all manner of allergies and stuff now is due to lack of exposure to anything while growing up. My daughter was pretty much raised in a barn and has never in her 21 years had worse than a cold for a few days. A little filth goes a long way.
To be replaced on the following day by dizziness and nausea. I actually missed work. And it's been years since I called in sick.
By the way, I didn't make the (90-mile) trip all by myself. My travel companion, who is my age, a total couch potato, and nowhere near in as good of a shape as I am, got the exact same shot and feels great.

Go figure.

Sorry to hear you had some side effects, but it probably beats the actual disease. I managed to get through both with only a slightly sore arm, where as my elderly, horribly out of shape, pack a day smoker father didn't even feel that.

Maddening, isn't it?
I'm still glad I did it. Looking forward to mask-free hug-allowed family time!
Had my first Astrazenica 5G implant 12 weeks ago, and it completely wiped me out, second one just over a week ago with extra concern from the wonderful NHS staff due to being in the age range they are more cautious about - no symptoms whatsoever. Not even a sore arm.
Must say, my 5G reception is still non existant, and 4g signal on my phone hasn't improved either. Starting to think I chose the wrong contract...
i guess i'm going to ask this now... could newly injected folks try the "magnet test" on the injection site? I'm sure at least ONE person reading this will reply "hogwash... don't waste your time"
Well, if it's hogwash, why not try it anyway? (what would be the harm??)
I had Moderna #2 now several weeks ago. I used a medium sized refrigerator magnet on my injection site. It did not stick, but i had a slight dull ache... or maybe i just imagined it?
One U-toob video i watched claimed they received the Phizer shot.

'Covid 19' is a disease that can be treated with modern antibiotics, there are no diseases that can be vaccinated against 'period'. (Please check this info out on all health websites, before you chastise me for being conspiracy theorist),
'Covid 19' is a disease that is caused by a mutated 'coronavirus' cell, the human immune system will prevent this happening in 99.5% of infected 'Coronavirus' patients. (As stated on national health websites across the world)
'Coronavirus' is obviously a virus, again, it can't be vaccinated against, as all viruses mutate rapidly, so a vaccination injection taken a week ago is no good now. (Again, stated on health websites across the world)
The jabs that everyone is talking about has NEVER completed and passed the correct procedures to class the medication as safe, in fact, the jab is in stage 4 of the testing procedure and stage 4 is for the medication to be tested on animals.
Please ask yourselves these questions
1. Do you personally know someone that has actually passed away of 'Covid 19'?
2. Why can you still catch and pass on the 'coronavirus' after having the jab? (surely that's the same as before you took the jab), yet people are dying directly from having the jab that would still be fit and healthy and still alive
3. Why don't you get a small dose of the virus in the jab for your immune system to start making antibody's to protect you against infection? ( like all other jabs/vaccinations)
4. Do you know 100% what the ingredients are in the jab and what they are in there for?
Please please, don't disrespect me for what I have said above, I have done a lot of research and I'm simply sharing a small amount of the information I have learnt (which is all available on the net from numerous well respected doctors, nurses and surgeons, amongst others) just because the info I have shared is not from mainstream media, doesn't make it false or a conspiracy

You got it backwards. Viral infections can't be treated with antibiotics. If that were true we would have defeated AIDS/HIV, Cancer, etc. This is an easy Google.

Please cite a single one. Nothing you are saying there makes sense.

Utter bullshit. If a virus can't be vaccinated against then how did we eliminate smallpox, polio, and most medieval infectious disease?
The jabs that everyone is talking about has NEVER completed and passed the correct procedures to class the medication as safe, in fact, the jab is in stage 4 of the testing procedure and stage 4 is for the medication to be tested on animals.
Completely inaccurate. The first tests were to determine safety and then efficacy. I think what you are misstating is final acceptance by certain national health agencies.
Please ask yourselves these questions 1. Do you personally know someone that has actually passed away of 'Covid 19'?
Yes. I was pall bearer at his funeral. We were friends at work for 26 years.
2. Why can you still catch and pass on the 'coronavirus' after having the jab? (surely that's the same as before you took the jab), yet people are dying directly from having the jab that would still be fit and healthy and still alive
You quote one in a million happenings as being equally the same for everyone.
3. Why don't you get a small dose of the virus in the jab for your immune system to start making antibody's to protect you against infection? ( like all other jabs/vaccinations)
This vaccine does not use a killed virus like most others. It uses a small piece of mRNA to create anti-bodies. It's safer, more effective, and can be given to people with egg allergies and the like which used to be a problem with the older killed virus technology. You are speaking from absolute ignorance.
4. Do you know 100% what the ingredients are in the jab and what they are in there for?
Yes, it's widely known and listed. I work with a plant full of chemical engineers who will lecture you at length about the entire list.
I greatly disrespect you for propagating internet ghost story bullshit as fact. You could answer most of these questions yourself if you had even remained awake in high school biology. You have ZERO empirical or documentary evidence to support anything you have listed here.

This is the position taken by a lot of immunologists. It's called the Hygiene Hypothesis.

I'm getting my 2nd moderna vaccine tomorrow. The first shot felt like I got stung by an insect and it didn't hurt that much, and my arm wasn't swollen or red, but after six hours of the first shot it started to hurt a little and I could only lift my arm halfway up.
I've had - in order I am remembering these things - 1. ten toenails removed, in podiatrists' offices (2002 to 2005) 2. four arthroscopic surgeries on left elbow (1985, 1992, 2004) including the famous Ilizarov Method (1994) where I wore a metal frame with 5 pins in my arm to force the elbow joint apart, for 8 weeks, while I taught math at Rutgers. 3. arthroscopic cleaning of right elbow (2009) 4. total left wrist replaced (2007) 5. total right wrist replaced (2019) 6. left thumb surgery (2008) 7. pins in 3 toes on left foot (2005) for a month to straighten hammertoes 8. pins in 1 toe on right foot (2005) for a month to straighten hammertoes 9. mole removed right chin (1981) 10. vasectomy (1995) 11. 5 colonoscopies (2001, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018) 12. 1 endoscopy (2001) 13. two total knee replacements done at same time. Surgeon also honored my request to remove 8 of my toenails while I was under anesthesia. But they grew back, so, had to go to podiatrist to remove more permanently. 14. total left hip replacement (June 2017) 15. total right hip replacement (September 2017) 16. removal of right metal hip due to Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus warneri infection of the metal hip, replaced with concrete spacer for 8 weeks while receiving antibiotics via piccline in arm (July 2019) 17. removal of space & new right metal hip installed (October 2019) 18. total dislocation of right hip (November 2019) while sitting at home in front of my computer, just got careless with it 19. worst pain in my life: week after they popped my hip in had to return to ER, fearing it would dislocate again, but luckily did not 20. MRIS of hips + neck 21. Six teeth extracted, including 4 backmost molars 22. Two root canals (2004, 2020) 23. Swollen arthritic knees repeatedly drained of fluid by doctors at Rutgers (1993 to 1999) over a dozen times 24. 7 neck injections (2019), including 1 done yesterday, for severe neck pain 25. Anorexic (1978) when I was 14. Went to hospital for 12 days to regain weight. 25. ear lavages, including 1 done last week 26. Pin put into right thumb (2014) 27. Right thumb pin removed by other doctor (2015) 28. Wire left in right thumb that should have been removed when pin was, by third doctor (2019) 29. Had the mumps as a kid (must have been 3 or 4 years old: 1960s) 30. Many teeth fillings 31. Weekly self injections of Enbrel (2001-2008), Humira (2008-2014), and Actemra (2016 to now) for RA. 32. Experimental blood filtering where blood was removed from one arm and put back into other arm after being filtered of certain cells. About 5 or 6 sessions. (2000) Just lay in hospital bed for an hour. 33. Heart catheterization (2021) via right arm 34. Prostate biopsy (2008) 35. Horrible shingles from base of spine down back of right leg for a week (2004) 36. Left foot bunionectomy (2008)
So, yeah, I'm not worried about "harm" from vaccinations.
