I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the meet, the diehards, the occasional visitors, and the Bristol newbies alike, and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves; I think I got to chat to everyone, if only briefly. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, especially returning newbies, at future Bristol and other meets.

We'll be doing it all again on 16th August, and praying in the interim for decent weather, good mud, and availability of models.

the splunch was great, thanks Mike, had a difficult time choosing between the mud or fountains, we went to the fountains instead, looking at the mud pics it does look great.
i did get to play with the fishes in Bristol aquarium, they have notices about you not touching the fish but nothing about the fish touching you, the rays were very friendly, and i'm not talking about the bloke ray behind the......no leave it!!!

Mike, sorry we couldn't go on the Sunday. My phone died, which we discovered was due to the charger failing.. so while I thought it was charging it actually wasn't and meant I couldn't even preserve any battery life for the next day. If I'd been aware it was failing I'd have turned it off Saturday to save a bit.

That mud does look great and I hope to get in it at some point

It was just soo hot on Sunday, chilling out & fountains won....hopefully mud next time
