Why? I get it if she's too young for people to associate with WAM. She certainly is for me.
I also get that people don't want to associate WAM (or anything sexual) with ANY politician.
I still admire her for truly whipping the world up into action on a problem orders of magnitude more important than any FAKE "problem" like "vaccines hurting people" or some big imaginary "confiscation of guns". She (and Vegan Gains) does more than fake greenwashers like Elon Schmuck or Jeff Bezos.
I'm uncomfortable with it because, 1, I don't like her, I find her intensely irritating, very extreme, weird and generally a bit of a crank and ,2, I think she's unattractive.
So, all of a sudden you guys are cringing at a young woman (of approved UMD age) getting messy? Like, because you don't agree with her views on carbon emissions or something?
Her message is exactly the same as that of David Attenborough which is (paraphrasing) can you all actually do something against climate change please
Neurodiverse people, especially when a child (she was a child during most of her high profile campaigning) and when genuinely passionate, scared, constantly attacked by trolls and the media for saying the same thing as a male counterpart, and saddened by the lack of action by the big corporations are not 'cranks'
Her passion and bravery in directly speaking to world leaders with their heads in the sand and asking them 'how dare you?' is a gift to the world
I'd say our children and grandchildren will thank her, but no bugger listens to her so maybe not. But at least she tried

Because she's only recently turned 18 and is best known for her actions from when she was underage. As such, a lot of people still think of her as a minor, even though she isn't anymore and probably wasn't when the pic was made/posted. I can certainly see where they're coming from on it, though I don't recall such a backlash with other former child stars (for lack of a better term) doing WAM-esque photo/video shoots after coming of age (Billie Eilish being the first name to come to mind).
Personally, I just shrug at all of this. The pic, the response, everything.
Aye, sploshable politicians seems like a fairly recent phenomenon. While we are on the subject of members of the Labour party, I give you councillor Karen Danczuk of Rochdale.....
Meanwhile, in the real, important, practical world, that doesn't care about symbols for symbols sake, people and animals struggle work every day to survive, to find some piece of distraction and pleasure away from chronic drudgery and pain.
That article posits Jessie J as "one of the global elite"
It's just the way the fake oil ran down her face. There are other pictures before and after with both eyes. We can probably find Pie Zone seconds where the model only had one eye open and visible. (You're definitely in the elite of wam video production! )
