OH Sooty, I am so glad to hear that. HA! While you are at it, why don't you sign up for the sixth and last spot on my new Wam Game, "New Game (A Chocoholic's Messy Delight)" You can make a chocolate pie, and when you lose (ha, there are five others so your chance is only 1 in 6) you can smash that pie in your face. For the rules, go to Forums and look for my game. It's very simple, and I hope as we progress, and yes, I will always be one of the six unlucky contestants, it will get messier and messier. But for starters I wanted to keep it simple.

Oh that sounds fun but can't commit to any games at the moment! Busy busy
For splatter I mix w sparking water but soda prob better cause gas sugar. U can mix in corn syrup or sugar to thicken it. I've used marshmallow fluff or powdered pudding or chocolate mix But have melted down chips or other baking things which worked better. May want to do 2 layers one for splatter on top and bottom more weight for sticking but careful if it's gonna be throw at your face. My wife says I've stunned her and her face went numb from the weight cause I made super thick cream and had pie filling. If metal pie tins make sure it's rounded n not th textured type on edge wife got a scratched lip once. If pie is heavy I crack crust to make impact more forgiving.
(Sorry if this is considered, bumping. Please feel free to not make it so, Mods!)
Honestly... I don't think we got it just right. Didn't get the mixture sloppy yet sticky enough. But I will keep trying. Think we're almost there, just need to experiment a little more. There will be a vid + photo set coming soon for what we did
