Not sure who organises Birmingham, but it's well established, Mike from Bristol and/or Dunk Tank Dave may know? Awesome gathering, I still remember the time I met Bill Shipton there.

Yep......It's (Traditionally) Dunk Tank Dave.........but after the difference of opinions on the London gatherings who knows
TBH......I don't think anybody "owns" any splunch and it's all a joint effort as CK has just offered to help so just do it and whatever will be will be and all that
I don't think anyone really lays claim to the brum one
Nastygunge has organised a few, I was meant to do one but it got forgotten in a busy year (I was looking at changing venue but never found anywhere better) and dunktank dave has done one too
Thanks @Tilly, just making sure the message didn't get lost somewhere in the ether.
Agreed that no-one 'owns' a splunch and whilst I am always willing to offer my help with things, it's always good to see a local organiser, someone that knows the area for appropriate venues and also things like updates on traffic and transportation.
Please join me in supporting the community and making 2017 a progressive year for sploshers everywhere.
Very simply, splunches are social meet up for sploshers. The term derives from munch and munches which is a social gathering for the BDSM and Fetish community.
Treat it nothing more than going to the pub with friends and meeting some new ones too. There is no play, no dressing up, no sploshing - it's just a social.
We always have new people coming along so please do join us, but if you are feeling a bit nervous please contact myself or one of the other organisers and we can pre-arrange a meet up point and exchange phone if needed.
Likewise, if there are any more questions please post them here.

Hi Tilly, I did say before Xmas that I had planned to organise the Birmingham Splunch for 18th February so others could work around it. I'm also planning a "special" Reading Splunch for April.
I've organised the last 2 and nasty gunge did the 2 before that. Nobody owns the splunches but I think it's important to stick to the format and rough times of year to engage as many of the regulars as possible.
Just to add the event here so you can see the 18th February is all going ahead. If you can let any of us know on here or via inbox if you are interested in staying for food later on so we can look at booking a table and finding a venue to suit the numbers of people staying.

Unfortunately I can't make the Birmingham Splunch (once again due to uni scheduled commitments ). But the Reading one in April might be more feasible for me
I think we should try our best to get more splunches off the ground this year and Manchester must be a place to make one work! Nicola and Manwam could be the organisers......No pressure haha......but with London, Reading, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Edinburgh (sorry if i forgot any) there are still a few holes in the country and the north of England is one the areas. Manchester or Leeds would be perfect for people to get out to and meet some of the amazing people on here
Unfortunately I have (non-messy ) birthday-related plans that weekend, so I can't make it this time. I would be up for any that get organised further North; Leeds, Manchester, etc. though!

Reading is likely to be an invite to event now as it's likely to involve the Gunge / Dunk Tank.

Oooh - I'd like to be invited! But I understand if I'm not, given the change in the setup for the April meet.
Are there anymore details about the Birmingham Splunch regarding times and venues? I am back in the UK at that time and wouldn't mind attending if that is okay?
Heya, I'm taking over the lead for this, although anyone is more than welcome to take it off my hands if they would like. I've confirmed the venue as The Square Peg Weitherspoon pub, the same place it has been in the past. It's a large place with the usual food and drinks offerings from the chain pub. I've left the start time at 2pm although I won't be there until 3.30pm at the earliest. Whilst I'm trying to find someone local that can get there at the start time, the question has to be asked: does anyone actually want to start at 2pm or do you want to join in a bit later?
Food is likely to be one of the Asian buffets in town, good value for money and a range of food that is suitable for most.
I hope that this info helps everyone with their planning and if you have any questions please do ask. We'll be firming up the details over food soon, as ideally we'd like to get numbers so that we can book a table.
For those that are local or anyone staying the night, I'll be at the BBB the following day. The Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar is a kinky shopping day with demos, followed by an evening BDSM play afterparty. More details here: http://brumbazaar.co.uk/
Could do with a new thread on this with all the details at the top as usual and the date and location in the title
I don't think I can make it but people will not know its happening if the above isn't done - look at how many miss it and come back and wail they didn't know it was happening even when the usual format is formed (despite it being all over the forum and in the calendar)
