We are playing around with the idea to include audience reactions and laughter to some of our up coming shoots, and possibly add it to some of our past shoots. We would have an option to purchase a video with or without it. Any interest in this?
I personally like audience reaction, most of us grew up watching messy gameshows and that I feel has a big effect on most of us. One of my biggest fantasies is to stripped naked and pied on a gameshow with loads of people watching on cheering and laughing at me. So in short, more audience noise and reaction the better.

I'm working on exactly that - doing a pie "scene" at a fetish ball/social type event in the not-too-distant future.
As for audience reactions, I think canned, laugh-track, laughter might seem forced, I would prefer to see and hear the reactions of actual spectators.
Just a thought
I agree. You could have a real audience watch the video, record their reactions, and dub this onto it.

YES! Lucky for you I'm available to come watch shooting and laugh during the funny parts. Seriously, if you have the real thing, it would be epic. A laugh track might be OK but you have to change it up and there are level mismatches between tracks and other technical issues. It gets tedious after a while.
Yes, definitely. I love it. In particular I like the audience 'nervously' signalling that they know what's coming next, for example when a bucket of goop is introduced or in anticipation of an imminent gunging etc, and their amused disgust and sympathy when the mess is delivered. It really enhances a scene for me.
The only way I would find this appealing is if it was the crew's reactions we could hear from behind the camera. I guess this would be Mrs & Mr MG, whoever the cameraperson is, plus any other models or friends who are hanging around watching the shoot go down.
make sure to get the sounds from "saved by the bell" when everytime someone kissed or got a love letter...... that over the top "OOOOOOOOOOOOOO" SOUND for when girls make out or eat out someones ass!!!
omg i would DIE LAUGHING AT THAT!!!! im laughing way too hard at myself right now.
I think this is a great idea. Considering it's just an audio overdub, it shouldn't be too difficult to do as an optional/alternative download considering some people don't like the idea at all. I love it and would gladly purchase scenes with laugh tracks.
Unless it is a game-show, then I'm afraid audience reaction is a big turn-off for me! So definitely keep the option of having clips without "canned laughter" etc. Thanks in advance.
I'm in all kind of sounds that increase the humiliation aspect, such as laughings or fluff stuff sound when smashed... Rich used in Wonderwoman and really enjoyed!!
MG, it seems to me that there are two types of wammers. . . those who see someone getting messed as a funny thing, or a humiliating thing, and the added laughter adds to this. . . . and the other half who see it as a sensuous or sexy thing where laughter has no place at all. I prefer no laughter, but I understand that some people get a turn on from the humiliating of a woman, and the laughter helps.
it's really an interesting question and seems to be a polarizing "tastes great/ less filling" kind of issue. I do like it in theory but not always in practice. It has to be properly mixed, lower in the background so it doesnt become too obtrusive. like a bit of seasoning. I've tried to do this for some of my vids and after some trial and error i find that less is more. but even though i LIKE the concept i can't imagine, if presented with the option, of choosing the laughtrack version over the non laughtrack version.
Maybe from a campy, tongue-in-cheek perspective where the girls ham it up a bit. Overblown reactions. The model clears her eyes and turns to face the camera with an unimpressed you-gotta-be-kidding-me look after taking a pie. That kind of thing. It's too absurd to be used in earnest.
Eh, I've used laugh tracks and audience and sound FX off-and-on for 10+ years now. I'll be honest, I rarely get any feedback one way or the other. (I think Moho is the exception!)
Then again, I don't "advertise" the laugh track as a selling point (or a deterrent). I use them as necessary.... Sometimes a scene or moment works better with audience reaction. (Obviously fake game shows, but there are also times when a model does a long slow burn post-hit without wiping, and it gets a bit awkward to have 7-8 seconds of just room noise.) Now, if OTHER people are watching and laugh at the girl, I always leave that in. If it's just me laughing (which I do sometimes), I'll edit that out.
And again, take this with a grain of salt.... My stuff skews more humorous than sexualized, so I think the goofy sound FX work. Most MG stuff plays up the sexual aspects and it feels like laugh tracks would be at odds with that mood.
A real audience yes, that could work well on appropriate shoots, though badly on the wrong ones. Canned laughter is something I hate though, please don't put it on messygirl.com
Well if you're talking about a real audience I could come over and watch a shoot, then you could edit in cutaways of me leering creepily at the models. Big seller, I think. Big.
i love real audience reaction, particularly when they gasp. One of my favorite all time videos is "derrie douche" on YouTube (can't link, underage) but the audience reaction there is just perfect.

I honestly think this comment and your video title "All That Is Golden Is...My Ass" might be the funniest things (outside of Regis) I've ever read on here.

Hopefully it will only remain an option even for those, because I can think of two relatively recent public gathering videos right off the bat that would have had their tone absolutely ruined for me if canned laughter or audience reactions were thrown in, despite being some of my favorites ever made by you: The Pie Convention, and Brooke Pays Her Debt.

I'm in the "No" camp on this one, as I find canned laughter pretty annoying and distracting.
I agree with Kowalski, in that genuine reactions from people present off-camera might be funny if they're done right - say gasps/laughter of incredulity from a friend of the model who didn't believe she'd get so messy - but that's it.
I'm glad MG is doing some "do you like this?" posts (I think the previous one was about water)..... It's been very eye-opening. Turns out all the clips of mine that people bought and loved 5 and 10 years ago were actually filled with things they hated!! Who knew? Maybe they were just being polite?....
