Man sometimes I wish there was a smug emoji face on here. As a verbal pie dom, there have been many instances where that face would have been the *perfect* face to tease my victims with. Also the clown and devil face emojis, plus maybe a pie emoji or something.
Not a big deal, and I get this site has limitations that are set in place for practical reasons, but man it would be just a nice little detail.
Incidentally, I rarely see any "negative" emojis used, like the angry or sad emojis, as the nature of this site is fairly flirtatious and this is a pretty damned positive and supportive community for the most part. Never seen the police or mask one used at all, but I don't frequent the non-wam forum that much so I dunno.
Anyone know of any other emojis they'd like to see on here? Just curious on all y'all's thoughts.
I agree. I would like to access the entire unicode emoji list.
With the emoji now ever present in real life use as well as the internet I have found myself quite reliant on them these days in helping to convey feeling and emotion in text.
Might be worth adding this thread to the UMD Dev group.
YESS! I just posted about that! I know it's a huge pain in the butt to overhaul the site, but maybe there's a way to at least be able to use them in forum posts?

Agree it would be nice to have more of them but I don't know how much coding work would be involved in doing that. TBH the one I miss was the green version of that we used to have.

It *should* be predominantly handled by the user's browser. If it's able to display unicode then it would just be a case of handling any HTML escape sequences.
e.g. "& # x 1 F A 7 0 ;" (split up to prevent the forum removing it for security).
Edit just to clarify, the current system isn't based on this; it's directly injecting an image inline.
Of course "should" and "actually" are two different things, not suggesting this is a simple or quick fix for MM by any means!
That makes sense. I do think it could be worth the work though, as it would almost certainly incite more engagement. That said, no idea how big of a workload it actually would be
I completely agree. There are about 3 or 4 different faces that I think I would use all the time, including smug faces, etc. I'll get on it when I can!
