I have had a few over the years, and its VERY difficult to pinpoint exactly who or what sparked my love of Wam, but I do have a general idea of who introduced me into Wam as a much more mainstream fetish.
*Lexi and Liz* - Messygirl
I remember first typing in to my search bar "messy fetish" and barely anything popped up, except for maybe a few sites, Messygirl.com being one of them. Once I clicked that button, everything changed lol. I saw all these stunning women covered in everything from paint to marshmallow fluff, and everything in between. It was like finding the promised land. I really loved Liz and Lexi's video where Lexi is a sub, and Liz Dom's her, but the video that triggered it for me was when Lexi and Liz were covered in gold and silver metallic paint. Everything about it was hot. It inspired me to stay true to myself, to stop holding back and to go have more fun than I should be having. From that point, I made it my priority to buy all the metallic paint stuff they released from that point on, and I don't regret it for a second. It would be many many years before I figured out how to acquire mehron's metallic paint dust, but I remember trying it the first time and never wanting to wash it off. I stayed in my bathroom for half the day, looking at myself, touching myself, massaging in the metallic paint, even pouring it in my hair and mouth.
Wanted to say thanks to my crushes from Messygirl "Lexi and Liz" , for all the incredible scenes, work and time put in, and how much fun I had with new and interesting substances.
(and for everyone else who has inspired me to be messy, thank you so much for being you!)
I remember stumbing across a website called proper messy, it featured regular women, not models, who could literally work at the office. One such women I'm question was Kirsty, who wasn't stick thin, genuinely my kind of women. Seeing her dressed in office wear, a floaty skirt, or a dress, then being pied, covered in spaghetti or gunged, all in public view was just off the charts. Taking a beautiful lady, completely messing her all over, not caring if the clothes were ruined or not, really got me hooked. From that day on, it has always been about seeing a beautiful women, fully dressed, going from prim and proper... to proper messy.
Greta Thyssen. The Cream Cake she took in the Face in "Let Them Eat Cake", the Three Stooges short, is absolutely incredible to me. Not only is the coverage absolutely perfect, she cries after being Caked. It's like a whimper that turns into a crying sob, and something about it just turns me on something fierce. That scene really affected me as a young boy. I still think that pretty much almost all of the women that starred in The Three Stooges shorts were smoking hot. Of course Natalie Wood in "The Great Race" got me to actually hit myself in the Face with a real Coconut Cream Pie for the first time when I was 10 years old. Cybill Shepherd in "Murders In The Mail" wearing that low cut French Maid dress, getting nailed in the Face with that Cream Pie, and the coverage on her breasts was absolute spanking material for this 14-year-old in the closet "Pie Boy".
If we are I'm going to get a lot of heat for this (especially after all that's happened): Wambabes.
Ariel was one of the originals and more or less paved the way for the wam community. Despite the poor history she had a great deal of quality work over the years. It's really crazy and disappointing learning about everything that happened near the end of the line. I never entertained the idea of something like this ever happening. Well it is what it is in that regards and there's nothing that can be done.

Not sure what happened behind the scenes or anything because I've never been really connected to any wam sites or any social media really, but thats unfortunate. I have personally scoured the internet over the years for content and I love pretty much all wam from most creators. I'm simply in it for the pleasure. I keep all the personal info at the door, once the mess begins, thats all there is for me. Only recently have I begun to dig into whats behind the scenes, and I am finding myself backpedaling to when I just did this spontaneously. While I *DO* love chatting and stuff, I also want to respect everyone here, and not push myself onto anyone else. Now that I have posted my own stuff, I can see how quickly you can get overwhelmed by it all. I just hope everyone stays safe, and enjoys themselves <3 <3
For mainstream, I'd say Sally James from Tiswas. [Admin: had to remove rest of detail as while mentioning such shows in general terms is OK, detail that could lead to specific searches for specific scenes should be avoided.]
In WAM, Karen Partington in Splosh vid Hot Coffee and Sticky Buns. But to be fair any of the Splosh models of that (ground breaking) era. Sammy-Jane, Rachel Stevens. Louise Hodges, Emma, Jo Bache, etc.
I have to say I'm a bit of a advocate for Splosh (see my other posts) (* The Picture of Karen Partington is from Juicy Pairs, just so you know)
That pic of Kirsty got a lot of likes already, so one more. (Leon obviously has the copyright on all of this, and even though he departed the UMD in the way he did, I still want to respect that.)
Not sure who the actress was. It was in a Little Rascals/Our Gang short and it featured a tea party being held for some socialites. There was a monkey involved and it started throwing cream puffs everywhere. One of the ladies had her back to the action and got one cream puff splattered on her back. She turned around and got another square in her face. Not the greatest of coverage but it got my little ten-year-old motor running.
Even though I had an interest in WAM from a very early age I didn't realise it as a fetish until about the age of 13 when I saw some clips from Splosh episodes in an adult channel freeview
So I'd have to say my first proper WAM crush was Samantha Jane, she had the best reactions to getting messy!
To echo some of the others on here Sammy-Jane was almost certainly my first.
I came across Splosh! through seeing it on James Whale on TV, and then Sammy-Jane caught my eye immediately once I saw the magazine, and the VHS videos
I'd seen WAM used in a punishment "loser gets gunged" scenario on TV but Sammy-Jane was the first woman I saw who seemed to be having fun getting pied, sitting in cakes or having custard poured over her. I still love that fun side of WAM, trying to capture the fact that getting messy is a fun thing to do. There was a stewardess scene which featured Sammy with Rachel that was probably my favourite
Oh jeez, this is tough. If we're talking about an actress who appeared in WAM-specific productions that I crushed on, and would maybe buy more product (VHS tapes, back in the day) in which she starred, there were a few at MessyFun that blew me away. Billie, a gorgeous Latina girl who didn't seem to do very many scenes overall but her clay pit one was utterly stunning. Carolyn was another who just had a flawless face, as far as I was concerned: great pie scenes with her, and blackbird clay set that was easily my favorite. And Kassandra was the last, but then I've always been a sucker for dark-haired brunettes with amazing cheekbones.
And in direct reponse to the OP, that Liz/Lexi metallic paint scene was a longtime favorite of mine as well. I already loved shiny paint stuff, but it sealed the deal for sure.
As for mainstream actresses, that's tough. By the time I was aware of my WAM tastes, I think scenes on regular TV and in movies were becoming a lot more scarce. Only really cruddy sitcoms would resort to a pie fight every couple of seasons. I will say that Kathleen Turner being chucked into the mud pit in "The Man With Two Brains" really did a number on me. My strong desire to rewatch that until I wore the tape out was (probably for hte best) tempered by me folks always being around.
For me watching a sitcom where this girl walks up from from behind and pours a glass full of vanilla milkshake all over this smiling fully clothed young blonde guys head while he's facing the camera while sitting down then she just turns around and walks away. A bonus would have been if the guy was wearing a zipped up vest in the scene
