Kate has been our trusted meteorologist for MMC Live Action News Network for quite some time now but it want until recently where her weather skills were put to the test. Kate has been relying on a script writer to provide her with what to say on-air because well... Kate doesn't know much about weather. With the current writers strike, our regular source for Kate's weather report is no longer available and we have resorted to finding "alternate" script writers. We got a good deal with this one. This is a must have slapstick scene where Kate gets pied and slimed for simply reading the script! Of course she also endures a rain shower and some other "piecipitation" ;)
Wearing a very business blue peplum dress, black heels, and associated jewelry, Kate gets what she deserves and should really study those weather terms.
Kate definitely taking 1 for the team. I remember during the ALS Ice bucket days, a few weather reporters got soaked during it. So this felt a relatable scene.
A couple months ago we had a severe thunderstorm roll through and I would be lying if I said I didn't wish the dress that the anchor had on was plastered to her because of some in-studio 4D rain.
