So what items have you bought in bulk like marshmallow, molasses, etc in the restaurant style buckets? I have tried the marshmallow fluff, it was pretty awesome. What type of frosting is good for head dunks? as opposed to buying 50 of the little containers at the store.
Tried out Sam's Club But-r-creme buttercream frosting bucket. 32lbs was plenty to make about 20-25 pies. While we were excited to try them out, the pure frosting pies were way too heavy to throw and the size of the bucket made it difficult to heat the frosting to get it to a more spreadable consistency without ruining graham cracker crusts. We tried soaking the bucket in warm water to heat it up, though blending the frosting with cool whip or water might have helped. In the end, we got some good coverage, but in the future, I would blend the frosting to make it lighter and fluffier, and use traditional frozen (non-graham cracker crusts) that may stay together better. Or perhaps a good old frosting bucket head-dunk will do.
i have purchased giant cans of pre-made pudding at like gordon foods service , were awsome great messy fun one jumbo can (112 oz i can't remember exact weight) filled about 3 normal pie tins to the top . Topped them with whipped cream and it was awsome. They also have savory stuff like nacho cheese and they carry piping bags of dairy whipped creme , that stuff is awsome for topping pies it hold its shape and doesn't melt like whipped cream from a can.
