FYI in Sellers 1994 biography "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" it is documented how Sellers was so smittten with Loren during the making of this film he became obsessed with bedding her and she rejected him several times and he ended up stalking her. In the end he became so frustrated with her rejections that he went after her body double, actress Scilla Gabel instead. It is Scilla who did the actual water jump scenes and Loren just did the exit shots. In that biography it tells how Sellers seduced Loren (actually Scilla Gabel ) in his dressing room after seeing her dressed up to look like Loren in her wet lingerie from those scenes in the film.
