As you know, we are always focused on pushing the envelope with our messy productions, from trying out new substances to different locations and interesting film techniques. This year we decided to make the leap to 4k video. We filmed all of our footage at Studio 588 in 4k to bring you guys the best possible videos we could afford to make.
As it turns out, the video quality is so damn awesome that our computer cannot handle editing the film at all . So it time for a computer upgrade! This means that we have decided to throw a buy 1 get one free sale for the rest of this month to help us make this purchase sooner!!! The P.C. we need is going to run us around $1600. Whatever the difference, we will be for sure putting in ourselves no matter what. This sale is a means to make this purchase ASAP so we can start getting these videos out to everyone.
In the meantime we want to know what you guys might want to see first!!!! Here are a few option. Click and let us know what you want to see!
1.) The Balance Beam - MudBunny, dressed like a little rebel, tries to see if she can walk across a wooden beam over the clay pit. Of course the slippery beam wins and plunges poor MB into the thick clay.
2.) School Girl - Skipping school as never looked so hot as MB finds herself in deep trouble struggling to saver her books from the deep mud.
3.) Classy POV - MudBunny is dressed up in a pink spandex dress and tempts you into the neighbors mud pit.
4.) Princess And The Bog - Princess MB finds herself in a lot of trouble after getting more than she expected tending to her flowers.
5.) I love you Hitachi! - MudBunny brought her best friend to the clay pit this year. In this orgasm inducing scene MB cums again and again with her trusty pink Hitachi wand.
Also, consider what portion of your audience has a computer that can actually play back 4k video without dropping vast numbers of frames, and also a display that actually make any sort of use of all those extra pixels you're throwing around.
A properly-mastered 1080p would outshine most current non-pro 4k production.

We are well aware that most people will be unable to view 4k right now. Every year we purchase new equipment that we can experiment with and this year a 4k video camera was logically a smart investment to us. Right now the issue is that our computer cannot edit it at all even to convert to 1080p and so we decided to have a sale to quicken the pace. Even properly mastered, a 1080p video doesn't compare in the slightest to viewing even an unedited 4k video-- this will be an option to those who want it.
Seeing as you aren't a fan of peat shall I put you down as voting for one of the other three?

Thank you for your purchase paperclip!!!
I can't view 4k on anything I own either. I do most of my viewing on my PC which can handle 1080p but over all the system its a few years old and a bit dated. I also sometimes use a tablet which cannot even handle 1080p.
Over time though I will of course upgrade and in a few years time I'm sure I'll be viewing in 4k while everyone else is talking about 16k or more. Tech moves fast.
Whatever I'm running now though I will always download the highest quality available. I am sure there are many people here who have been downloading videos for many years and can see where this is going...
...Hands up those of you who still have clips you downloaded 10-15 years ago? What resolution are they? 480?...240?! They looked fine in the 90's when our CRT monitors were all running at 800x600 but now you load them up to either play a video the size of a postage stamp of go full screen to watch a video so pixelated it looks like it was made in Lego. Give it time and the same will apply of what we consider good today.
When I buy a video yes, I'm looking primarily at it's content, but quality is important now days perhaps more than ever. Producers investing in high-end tech and using new formats are leading the way. I could make a video today using my phone and it would probably look okay; but how will it look in 5 years time compared to using something more advanced?
If you're worried about file sizes then buy another HDD - They are so cheap these days!
If some customers can't handle 4K resolution on their PCs or Macs then will you still be able to release the videos in 720p or 1080p? It should be as easy as saving each edited video project in a lower resolution format. I make videos (not WAM videos) using Adobe Premiere Elements and it allows me to determine the resolution, frame rate, and video format (avi, mp4, ect.) before I publish the video.
Anyhow, it's cool that you're devoting time and money to improving the quality of your videos, but if some people arn't ready to handle it, then what will you do?
All this cake, there must be a princess somewhere.

The idea is not to render down the 4k before editing but to use the extra pixel real estate to frame the shots better in a 1080 frame. It also allows for better digital zooms and pans that cannot be done if you pre convert to 1080p. The idea is to render both 1080p and 4k for people that want to take advantage of the higher quality in the future. Out of the 10 videos we have only half will be available in full 4k but all videos will be rendered in 1080p no matter what so that all everyone can view them

Thank you for clarifying that! I'm still watching videos on a 4/3 Black and While monitor hooked up to a Commodore 64. Nah, just kidding. But thank you again for clearing that up! Can't wait to see them!

I would have to ask noob exactly but it isn't an entire new computer, just necessary parts we need to scrape by. Later we will invest in a new system altogether. After just recently paying for our flight and studio time we didn't budget that we would immediately have to buy new computer parts. We figured it might be a painful and long editing process but not that it wouldn't even run.
I hope everyone will give me feedback on what they like and don't like as we start releasing. This fall will include more sweeter messes along side the mud. I am working on taking more of a camera role myself (literally folders upon folders of shot styles and production inspiration) :footinmouth: Exciting stuff!!!
I'd like to see Hitachi. Can't go wrong with orgasm inducing messy fun, after all.
PS: I might have gone a little nuts on the buy one, get one free sale and might have grabbed half of your scenes. At least that brought you around $50 closer to your goal!
Edit: Hmm... $1600. I'm curious on what the specs of that computer are, seeing as mine I built is pretty good and ran me about $800. I just need to upgrade the RAM and hard drive storage space down the road.

Since we got a few people interested what we are looking at for a new Editing rig, this is what we got for parts list.
Case: mini atx Bitfenix Prodigy ~ $110 Power Supply: Corsair cx500 500w psu ~ $80 O.S. SSD: 120Gb intell 535 series ~ $110 Storage SSD: 1Tb seagate barracuda ~ $70 Processor: Intel i7 4790K 4.0GHZ 8 threads ~ $460 Motherboard: Gigabye h97n with wifi ~ $160 Ram: 16gb kingson hyper fury. ~ $120 Video card: Nvidia 2Gb ( flexible on modal ) ~$ 220 - 320 Total: $1330 ($1490 after tax)
Theres a few dollars that could be deff cut in there, but I find a lot of times going with your cheapest option is usually not a good idea. The parts all come from a good local supplier of bulk parts in Canada (NCIX) and all have full warranty. Stuff like the wifi and case options are needed for where the pc will be sitting and going with a different motherboard and case might have cut $100 but are needed.
Cool news is you guys have been absolutely amazing and have already helped us out with close to $300 in sales so far !!! I also have a lead on a possible CPU my friend might sell me for cheep so that would cut our cost a tone!
We really want to thank all you guys cause without such an awesome community we couldn't make these videos and we both really love trying to bring you guys the best quality we can

With that kind of RAM, you could cut back to an i5 if needing to cut corners. As for a 2Gb video card, I'd personally recommend the EVGA GTX 750ti. Handles video graphics very well. And depending on how much footage you guys wind up recording, I'd also suggest investing in a second or third hard drive down the road, too. Though, you could always cannibalize parts from your current machine. Good luck with it, though. Can't wait to see more of your videos in the future!
Just wanted to personally thank everyone that have purchased videos for our computer fund. For every 10 sales we are going to post a new GIF of the upcoming videos!!!
I also wanted to do up a little thank you card. I will be updating this thank you board through out the month, so don't worry if you aren't added right away :lovestruck: !!
As of right now we are at 29 sales so far, so that would mean I have two gifs!!!! One is from the School girl scene, and the other from I love you Hitachi!!!
Just my opinion...but why I can't ask to Mudbunny to perform a sexy strip wearing a clown costume?
..and when the strip is over, she gets pied and covered with honey, custard and chocolate...with three pies at the end (two on her boobs and one on her face?)
I would have to say start with 5 then go to 1 then 3 then 2 then 4. is she bare foot in the vids and are there good foot shots. Would love to see some good foot shots. Clean and muddy.
Well another 10 sales guys! Looks like its time for another GIF! I got another one from the I love hitachi for you ! I will be updating the board later this week
