id like to share this information with fellow producers or anyone who uses FB/Meta sites in general for their WAM content. we are the latest victims of Facebooks mass account banning they've been doing for the past several months since the entirety of Meta is run by AI, the AI has started mass banning accounts and groups by the thousands with no just cause and no way to fix it, because Meta has adopted a "zero customer service contact" policy. our Facebook account of 15 years is gone forever. this has nothing to do with what content you post, but rather a perfect example of why AI shouldn't ever RUN anything. it can happen to anyone, at any time, no matter how much you adhere to Facebooks ever changing policies that make less and less sense as the years go by. id recommend you start saving your content off your pages, and have a transition plan to other sites in place. thanks everyone, just wanted to give a heads up to folks since i didn't even know this was a thing until i started researching what happened.
I have noticed on Facebook, if your comments or anything get reported, the AI puts extra attention on your account. Be careful with your social media guys!
TBH, in the last year I have moved everything important to Bluesky and just use FB for keeping in contact with friends and winding up the right wingers, fascists, anti-science idiots and various bigots that now seem to populate all groups there. (Seriously, I am in a group called "Positive news only" and the comment section is 10% moron).
If I lost my FB account, I would not even blink. Does suck for those that rely on it though so your comment is totally worth a read, thank you.
I was on a 6 month warning on there for a comment deemed violent i wrote i kicked ass in regard to a event i competed in just proves it only recognizes words but not in what context they are meant
