You could go as far as to have a drain in the floor for easy cleanup... Just squeegee the mess down the drain and hose up as needed. Man I wish I took this thing seriously when I was a regional movie theatre manager. Drain holes in the ground all over the place... quick hose down and you'd never know I was there.
I doubt you want to redo your plumbing though. And I doubt you'd really want linoleum in the bedrooms and main living areas... Most people (around my parts) carpet or tile those rooms.
You'll also have a slip/break your neck factor when working with linoleum or tile, so keep that in mind.
I'd just get what looks nice for you and use plastic tarps to your advantage. Unless you are serious about wamming on a frequent basis, plastic tarps will suit you best.
Vinyl is the predonimant floor covering. Linoleum, a natural product, is much more expensive. Commercial-grade vinyl tile is affordable and easy to install, and very durable and easy to care for.
I was also going to suggest vinyl. You can get it in a roll wide enough to do a floor without seams, thereby making it even better for cleanup. I like the drain-in-the-floor idea too, but may be impractical, depending upon the plumbing beneath. If it's the black PVC plastic drains, it's quite easy to add a new drain if you can get under the floor. Hospitals have a poured floor, kind of like a shiny concrete, but colored nicely. I notice it also goes up the walls about 8 inches, which would be ideal in a wam room.
