Regarding playing wam games here and the posting of pics from losses or challenges. I personally play a lot of wam games and I enjoy them, that being said most of the games I play or enter usually require or request pics to be posted. Since day one I've always done the forfeits I've received & have tried to comply. Others do not and on their profile it might say pics- Zero. Now, in the past pics were mostly 'required as proof' of a forfeit completed or 'requested. I might be called a suspicious type but I have come to wonder if some the other players who never have pics to show or post ever 'really do' the forfeits they might receive. So in short would it be fair and honest to decline pics of forfeits I receive if they come from an individual who has no pics? Personally I do not show my face here and yes I try & keep my identity private as it would cause me great trouble in a few ways. Now I do not think it'd be difficult for anybody to post faceless pics even using a cell phone camera as I have done & continue to do. Am I being just picky???
- some folks, like myself, will post forfeit pics in their profile as opposed to a response in the game thread itself. it can be really difficult to know which photo has to do with which forfeit. and unless you check out a specific person's profile, you'll never know that they did the forfeit
- some folks, also like myself, are terribly behind on forfeits but have every intention to do them all
- no doubt, we have an undetermined number of users that play the games with absolutely no intention of following through ever
I don't have a solution other than encouraging folks to participate and that it's difficult, given the nature of an online forum structured like this, to know if these dares ever get done.
I have not been on the WAM games part but is it a rule that you have to post pictures? Is it necessary that folks are doing the forfeits?
On the few time I have done role play on here, it is just for the other person to imagine what is being done to them but (obviously) it is not actually happening, just for arousal. Maybe some people see the WAM games as a type of role play?
If this is in some way unfair to you then I think people could state what they are going to do before the scenario plays out.
Gooygunge said,"Games where the end forfeit may not be decided before you join can be off-putting too. Ergo someone comes in after you and nominates something that you won't do, what happens then?"
It is my opinion most people understand everybody has limits so in that case you'd only have to state your objections to "X" offering or asking for a substitute, probably not a problem...
