So apparently there's an annual thing where the winning cheer team in Miami dips in the ocean in uniform. The uniforms aren't to my liking, but hey here's some 2023 photos, many more on the web and of other years/colleges.
It's not Miami Beach, but Daytona Beach. It's the annual National Collegiate events that take place on the bandshell stage on Daytona Beach every April with 250+ teams and over 4000 college cheerleaders competing and many of the cup winners celebrate in the surf afterwards.
I have a contact who has been attending these events for the last 25 years and he sends me his video footage every year. He recently sent me the footage he shot at the 2023 events and I have posted hundreds of clips on my Wamtec Megastore site from the past 20+ years.
