I actually had that album... I got it for 4 dollars. It wasnt that good. There is a music video not by them but by some female metal band where they throw pies in guys faces.

What's the name of the band and which music video?
SPARKS. SPARKS in Outer Space, has always been one of my favorite album covers. Jane Wiedlin from the Go-Go's sang on the song "Cool Places". I have a interview with her somewhere on an old VHS where she talks about being into Latex and PVC and being a part time Dominatrix on the side. I have always liked to fantasize that it was Jane dressed up wearing Rubber and PVC, throwing the Cream Pies.
The Who Sell Out album cover. Roger Daltrey actually got sick after the photo shoot because the baked beans were cold. Pete Townsend and Keith Moon cake themselves in the video for Happy Jack.
The J Geils band get covered in paint for their video "Freeze Frame". A band called Charlie, has a all-out pie fight in their music video, "It's Inevitable".

Sparks was the first one I thought of, but I wasn't sure about posting since the thread was tagged "female." But gender aside, an absolutely inspiring album cover. I tried to recreate the "sprit" of it a few times, most successfully with Jen & Christine in SS104.

I remember the Charlie one well, got super excited as a kid when it came on.... Then disappointed when it turned out to be mostly guys getting hit.
There's a lot of 80s music videos with mess, mostly for guys (the actor from Animal House gets destroyed in multiple Twisted Sister videos, if I recall).... But if you wanna see a decent vid for female WAM, check out "Well-A-Wiggy" by the Weather Girls. Forgotten song, but it includes: --clothes ripping/humiliation --brief wetlook (hot blonde falls into pool) --brief pieing (a girl in cute equestrian gear, no less)
Don't forget there are twelve more pics of the two girls messing each other up on the back cover too.
Oh yes! I did forget about the back cover. I remember seeing the CD in HMV for the first time and then buying it without hearing any of their music or being aware of the BMX Bandits until then.

I did that in about 1990, in Tower Records on Argyle Street next to Central Station, very late one night after an evening in the Solid Rock Cafe, except with the vinyl album, so much larger images. The music is actually very good, but I bought it for the sleeve, couldn't believe what I'd found.
I later found out someone I worked with knew the singer of the band, I did ask if my colleague would put me in touch, wanted to find out if the photographer had any unused frames and if would be willing to sell them (assuming they'd consent to do so of course) but the colleague thought it was too weird and wouldn't pass the message on.
Gina G - Fresh She's pretty much wearing nothing but chocolate on the cover and all the liner photos (I bought this album from a charity shop for 50p just for the pictures!!) Due to the nature of the images I'm not going to post anything because I'm unverified.

i have no idea i saw it underlay on part of youtube vid where the vlogger was talking about music
I myself didn't think of it right off the bat, but I'm kind of surprised that no one else thought of The Slits. I guess I'm just old. And I don't guess a whole lot of people on the site are really into punk rock. Except for the guy that has already commented from the UK. I apologize for posting pictures of dudes.... I didn't realize when the thread first started that it was for females. I forgot to read the fine print. Anywho... I think everyone that's involved with this thread has gotten a nice walk down memory lane.
My memory in my old age is so clouded, I apologize. Joan Jett has a video where she gets ketchup squirted all over the white shirt she's wearing and also gets doused with water from a car driving by hitting a puddle I think. Can't remember the name of the song. There is also a video of hers, after she fell out of her major popularity, where she hits a guy in the face with a pie. I have tried and tried to find that video and cannot. There is also a video for a song that I don't remember by a band called, "The Wonder Stuff" and the bass player gets a pie in the face. And on that note and in no way WAM related... NO PUN INTENDED. The Wonder Stuff's album, "Eight Legged Groove Machine" is a very good album. I would also suggest a band called Tripping Daisy and their album, "I am a Human Elastic Firecracker". And one more band that I hate to endorse because they beat my band out of a record contract back in the day. Long story short the record company was looking at both of our bands because we both had double bass players. The music business is what it is and trust me you never want to get wrapped up in it because it is nothing but heartache. Anywho...." Ned's Atomic Dustbin" and their album, "God Fodder". The three bands that I just mentioned, are incredibly talented. It's an absolute shame that they didn't get bigger.
I bump into the main BMX bandit now and again - it's hard not to on the Scottish music scene. I always vaguely wondered if this is something he's into, but it's not the kind of thing I'd just ask out of the blue!
Should ask him who's got the wam kink lol! I love the bandits, we had the rehearsing studio next door to them one evening, all they done was argue and fight. Rock and roll!
