First off, for those who didn't get it from me when it was free in my download stores, here's the vintage pie clip from "The Roaring 20s" that I tracked down some years ago... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gEwNrYYbBk
I took the first step today by organizing the clips into various playlists. And while I'll keep adding new trailers and excerpts to the channel (as I have time), I'm also gonna add a lot more "vintage" content... Old-school SlapstickStuff trailers in higher quality than before, more mainstream clips, and so on.
If there's anything you want to see, let me know and we can go from there! Thanks!
Really great clip, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing some of those classic old trailers in better-then-ever quality too. Future's so bright, I gotta wear shades...
Hilarious! She gets pied and she doesn't laugh or try to make it sexy; she just tries to keep going and play it serious. This is comedy! This is what I've been searching for since Clown Julie was a regular around here. I would love to see more comedy wam in modern productions.
I know this is too cruel to some people's tastes, but they've got hundreds of unfunny wam videos to fap to. Give me this.
JohnZoidberg said: But even this was too uncomfortably cruel for my tastes. Who is the pie-ee and the pier?
The pie-ee is Grace Gaynor. The pier is, I think, Mari Blanchard. A great scene -- I downloaded it from Rich's store when he had it as a free download with purchase. Then my hard drive died. Great to have it back again.
So bummed that Warner Archive hasn't put this series out on DVD. The theory is that there are too many songs to clear in the detective shows (77 SUNSET STRIP and its various spinoffs and knockoffs), but I haven't completely given up hope.
