I've wanted to try grease for as long as I knew the mess capabilities of it. But on my previous thread about grease, quite some people reccomended vaseline mixed with black paint. So I wanted to ask if there was anyone with experience with it or any insight into it. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I suggest you use black powder paint to colour it. That way you have a true grease paint with petroleum jelly as the medium. Acrylic paint is water based and won't mix properly and contaminate your mixture.
Cleaning. Don't go straight in there with soap - you'll be doing that for hours. The best tip is to dilute it. THIN it for washing off with another safe liquid oil like baby oil or olive oil which will make the mixture more susceptible to washing with soap and hot water.
